always? hm, since I was a kid I wanted to be a games tester or reviewer. it would be badass to get paid for playing games. now I really want to be a divemaster (working on that one), snowboard instructor (that'll take a little more time) personal trainer (already am) and bartending on the weekends (which I do.) I guess I like being an instructor, and if I get certified for all those things, the world will truly be my oyster.
I've always wanted to be a fashion designer. I used to have sketchbooks full of designs. I even had a guy from SCAD tell me that I should send in my portfolio for scholarship opportunities. I got in a fight with my mom and threw all my stuff out. (She told me to quit dreaming because I would never make it) Anyways nowadays I would love to be an artist and own my own gallery.
airline pilot would be pretty cool, but i doubt i'd like the job so much as the benefits. it would be cool for a little while, but not for an extended while (so i dont see it practical to spend money on flight school for me) i would really like to write children's books, but i dont know anyone to illustrate for me, and lots of people write such books and virtually none get published enough to get much money for them. i dunno. it wouldnt be a bad deal to be a professional beer critic.
professional baseball would be pretty nice... getting paid exorbitant amounts of money to stand around in the sun all day... of course, i would also take porn star
English teacher, i love to read shakespeare and argue with people about the inner meanings of Homer's "The Odyssey". nifty.
oooooo. good one. my english teacher told me, the popular chick with the rich parents, and the gay guy who went to harvard seminary that he could just see us 20 years from our senior year tripping over each other in paris and still having perfectly great conversations about literature.
I always thought that it would be cool to be a host of a travel show like on the Discovery Travel Channel. Something like a Samantha Brown. Pretty much I would love traveling the world and getting paid for it, hell I would love doing it for free!
I always wanted to be a garbage woman. I have yet to see a female garbage person. Would be cool to ride around on those trucks.
interesting observation! i've seen women in pretty much every typically male profession, but i don't think i've seen a garbagewoman either. well, i suppose i've seen people i would call garbagewomen, but not because they picked up my trash...
