What would you recommend?

I liked Dexter, Breaking Bad and House M.D. alot.
Do you know any other shows similar to these, or any that I might like?

Can't say enough great things about The Wire. Sopranos and Californication were also great. The current shows I like are Homeland and Newsroom

 

Boardwalk Empire.

 

I've gotten into Sons of Anarchy recently. Shameless (US version, although I'm sure the UK version is good too) is currently my favorite show.

 

Sons of Anarchy is awesome.

I'd do things to Jax Teller in season 4-5...serious things.

 

I feel almost guilty watching this with my boyfriend sometimes because I have some serious lust for jax..yum, just yum.

 

Certain things on Breaking Bad I thought I'd never see on a TV show. Theres not really anything like it previously

 

I second the Shield and Boardwalk Empire. I love Mad Men as well.

Mad Men first three seasons
Sherlock Holmes, there's only 6 episodes, but more are supposed to come out this month.
I watched The Riches the other weekend, it's only 1 season and a half but I really liked the show's dynamic. It made me laugh a lot and a lot of the characters had many layers to it, I'm sad it went away so quickly! It had it's corny moments, but overall it was good.
I don't have cable and all shows I watch are from Netflix, so I ain't got much to recommend.

 

The Newsroom.

 

I just got into watching Game Of Thrones. I bought season one cause it was only $20:00. Then after I finished it I immediately when and got seasons 2-4.

 

The Australian show Rake is about a lawyer who acts similar to house and its edgy and on netflix

 

I like Scandal. It's a political drama. The president's chief of staff is like House gone evil. The fixer is smart and really... human. OP might like it if he or she is back and looking for something to watch again.

 

I freaking LOVE Breaking Bad! That show is seriously fantastic and it leaves me on the edge of my seat the whole entire seasons. It left me in tears, in shock, in total awe all thought the series. I could just watch the entire series over and over again. The acting is SUPERB and the script writing is brilliantly written. I'd definitely recommend watching this show to anyone who hasn't seen it

Better Call Saul is a spin-off and let me tell you, it's SO good but not on the same level of Breaking Bad but it's still enjoyable to watch. I can't wait 'till the next season, so stoked!

Then there's Hannibal. I REALLY need to finish that series. It was so interesting and I feel bad every time I procrastinate and end up not finishing the series. I believe it's been about a year since I've last seen the episode I was on and damn, do I have a LOT of catching up to do.
