I would fix my heat and plumbing, buy a bed, and get new houses for my kids ( modest ones).
Then I would travel to Wales and England to visit my friends.
The rest would satisfy my needs for the rest off my life, with plenty to give away to whomever convinced me that their cause was worthy.
I'm not forgetting Skip! For that dear Brother, enough for him to keep these worthy forums going for a good long time!
But what would YOU do with it?

Good point. I'd better keep mine a secret too.
Can't trust everyone indiscriminately these days, I suppose, though I feel sad about that.
    Thanks, Sister!

    Good answer, Brother.
Now tell me; is that because you possess that wonderful satisfied mind sung about by David Allen Coe, or because you've already GOT a million bucks?
No, don't tell us. It might inspire covetousness in some of our brothers and sisters here.
    I love your answer, though!

Pay some bills, help out some friends and family, and never work another crappy job ever again! Use the time to make music, travel, and look into community schemes that could use a little help

    When is it due??

Wish I could help you, brother, but I'm afraid I scratch out a living with my Social Security and have just under $500 a month to work with!
But I do like how you think.

I would build a roughly 26ft tiny home on wheels, that is self-sufficient with its own solar powered everything. I have designs, but if money is not an object, it means I can invest in making it as cutting edge as possible, with solar powered air-conditioning. I call it the "Romper Room" design, because its totally ergonomic and idiot proof if you want, and it holds four people and has a hot tub on the back porch.

That's a Scriptural attitude. Jesus said that when you do a good thing, you shouldn't let your left hand know what the right is doing.
Giving anonymous gifts shows that you're not doing it for praise or recompense.
    Good answer, Sister!

Often, people feel good after doing something God's way.
That's how we're hardwired, I believe, by our Creator.
If I do something that I feel might hurt or disappoint my God, I always feel badly until I make my peace with Him, and the person I wronged, if applicable!!

I've built lofts before, and houses, but never mobile ones. I just watched a bunch of youtube videos, saw that they ergonomics all sucked, and decided to design one myself. The newest solar powered air-conditioners require half the energy, and if you have enough battery power for air-conditioning then you certainly have enough for radiant floorboard heat as well. They make smaller ones, but this one will feel big and be superfunctional, even though its only twenty foot long inside. Among other things, the kitchen is designed for gardening and canning and you can use the hot tub for a deep sink.

The front and back porches fold up against the house for transport, along with the hot tub. The inside is a split-level with a loft. The kitchen and bathroom are 3 foot lower than the living room, and you crawl over the couch to get into the loft, and the loft is part of the living room, which has six foot glass doors leading onto the back porch with the hot tub. It uses a solar hot water heater, and you can add a rainwater collection system, and be almost entirely self-sufficient. I used three nonload bearing slide-outs for a TV/Desk, Dresser, and Bay Window behind the couch for plants and pets.

Sounds cozy. I could definitely live there. I never wanted a big house and a lot of stuff.
All I own is a guitar, a portable keyboard, a bunch of books and a few posters, as far as material stuff.
Don't really need any of it, but those are my possessions. Oh, and a small collection of crochet hooks and knitting needles!

I would buy a piece of property and build a good sized garage and a shop. I would then go get several of the cars I have always wanted and work on them in the shop. I'd invest some to provide a steady income stream and make some donations to causes and institutions I believe in or am involved with.
