full of money (say 200,000 dollars) laying on the side of the highway?? would you turn it in to the authorities, or would you run off with it?? I was thinking about this after I heard a story about it in Kansas city, where a missouri man found the bag after it fell off an armoured truck, and he ended up turning it in..... I guess there are some good people in this world.
i'd turn it in. i have a freakishly strong conscience. i can't steal. unless i was starving, then i'd take what i needed and leave the bag for the next guy, not wanting anyone to know i discovered it.
Shit, I'd be in the first clump of bushes I could find counting all those nice crisp bills and laughing my head off. The next day I'd check the newspaper and see where it came from: If there's nothing in the paper about it it was probably tossed by some drug dealer who was being chased by the cops in which case I'd keep it and not tell anybody.
I'm afraid i would take it and it would somehow ruin my life, possibly for the reasons KC said. But I have a feeling I'd take at least some of it.
I'd turn it in, I'm too karma paranoid. Plus I wouldn't beable to stop thinking about the poor person who lost it is probably flipping out because I would be.
That much money, I'd probably run away. I'd probably call police but I think I'd be too scared to touch it.
well alot of the money came from a deposit from the Kansas City Zoo (their deposit slip was still in the bag)....
i'd take it man, and make me the sweetest looking hippie van ever!!! last summer, me and my ex were driving and we saw a briefcase on the side of the road, and we got to talkin about what if there were stacks of $100 bills, and so we turned back and went and got it and hid in some bushes and opened it. there was nothing in it. i was pissed.
If my cell were up and running I'd call it in without disturbing it. Never know when that kind of money can be laced with UV-sensitive dust.
luckily, I believe in destiny I would assume it was my destiny to recieve that money and do good things with it .....like a minivan ....in a new city (I like to cover my as*) I'll tell ya like Patti LaBelle "Don't block the blessing"
It would be a fun challenge to try to get away with it. I'm sure it would involve leaving the country and buying a house on a tropical island somewhere. Think about the regret if you DIDN"T take it too. The next day, back working at the CVS pharmacy.
