we had a pong console after that would have been the vic20 my cousin had..and atari 2600 around the same time
I don't remember. But my first system was an NES. I didn't get one until it was already old though. Like, after I had already seen Duck Hunt, Super Mario Brothers and the Legend of Zelda at my friends' house and at the baby sitters. Before that they had Atari at the baby sitters.
Would have been on the Atari, or, we did have the original tabletop space invaders but I also remember pole position on the Atari. And I remember my dad and I were really bad at it and then one day I kicked ass and he asks well how did I do that and I didn't know. Turns out I was pushing the joystick forward while racing and that gives you faster speeds.
Pong, of course. Then Asteroids, but my favorite was called Tail Gunner and was done with vector graphics as well.

Probably centipede or asteroids. Oh, and there was this little game on my dad's computer called Ski Free. You had to ski down a mountain and avoid obstacles and a yeti. The yeti would always catch up to you and eat you, then do this little dance. The yeti genuinely used to scare the crap out of me every time.
id really have to say intellivision pong, but that game was my friends. it was put away quickly, but we later played it when we were partying in out late teens. a few game were better when we were high . like the baseball, boxing, baseball.
Pac Man, at the skating rink. After that I got into Donkey Kong but sucked at it...wasted lots of quarters.
I dunno the first one. Some lame game on an Atari console (i recall Frogger as well on that. So surely one of the first as well). And the first Prince of Persia on PC (no save option lol). But i actually loved that one..!
my best guess would be either super mario bros, duck hunt, or joust. pretty sure we got all three right away when we got our NES. i suppose it also may have been some arcade game, but i have no memory of anything like that until i was older.
I remember prince of Persia too. We had a few DOS games like that where we needed to code in DOS commands on the PC to play them. Wokfenstein DOOM Prince of Persia And a few of those ones where you type in commands.
i remember frogger on a tabletop player...my sisters friend had one and i remember begging and begging for one at christmas...finally my mom told me i was getting one its already wrapped.... but i didnt she just said that to shut me up
