Hi all, I am interested in making drugs (Meth, LSD, MDMA) and I'd actually like to know what I am doing... so I have decided I want to take a course in chemistry to start. Problem is I don't know what subdiscipline to study (i.e. Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Bio Chemistry). What do I need to study?

Just take chem 101 or whatever and go from there. any chem major is going to wind up taking an org. chem class anyway, dont know much about the other two.

Organic chem is what your major should be, but if you're only learning chemistry to make drugs, you're just gonna fail out.

If you want some background info to help you make drugs, buy, steal or download "The Organic Chem Lab Survival Manual" by James W. Zubrick.
