Tell him your stomach hurts and you are scared you have an ulcer.
Tell him you obsess over this stomach ailment, and it makes you anxious.

I am serious. You may doubt me, but I am smarter than you.

just say that you constantly have panic attacks, and it's really making it hard for you to live your life. just don't walk in saying "i have panic attacks, give me something?". obviously use some tact. apparently, though, it's pretty easy to get a script for benzo's. as a minor it might be slightly more difficult, but not impossible.

you could even just look up symptoms of a panic disorder or anxiety disorder and choose a few that seem realistic. hell, we all experience some degree of anxiety- just make yours seem worse than it already is and you won't technically have to lie.

and, as always, don't push it. "beggars can't be choosers". i'd avoid asking for any medication by name, just roll with what they give you and if it's not what you want, wait a while and tell them it's not working as well as you'd like.

Wrong, if you go in there and say the word "panic", you won't get a benzo.

Act as if you are "panicking" about something that isn't there, like an ulcer.
Your doc will see you have no ulcer but are super worried. Then you will get a benzo.

90 barz(2mg xanax) a month here and ironically, it is because of my drug addiction. The doc knows about my serious addiction to opiates, I should note that he believes I am now in recovery. But he gives me lexapro and the barz for my depresssion and anxiety, caused by years of opiate abuse.

I have anxiety. In my experience, it's easier to get benzos from doctors than from psychiatrists. Psychiatrists seem more leery about prescribing anything addictive, especially if they know about your drug use, then they definitely won't..so keep that on the DL if possible..also they'll know if you're bullshitting while a doctor may not or just won't care either way. Go doctor shopping.

If all fails, get a hook up. Pharms are everywhere.

klonopin is pretty weak. 180mg of xanax would be great, tho.

When I was 16, I went to the doc for dizzy spells, and he prescribed Xanax. He felt that I was hyperventilating, which caused dizziness. If you describe to him that you're feeling on edge, shaky, heart racing, nauseous with a gagging lump in your throat and say how much it scares you and you're paralyzed with nervousness... then you're pretty likely to get something. Xanax is most often used for anxiety attacks, but has been known to be prescribed for general anxiety. Klonopin is used more for general and constant anxiety since it's slower to set in but longer acting. Ativan is another popular one. So far, my favorite benzo has been Temazepam. It has a warmer, friendlier euphoria than some of the others. It's prescribed for sleep, but not so much since Ambien hit the market.
If you get a script, just keep in mind that they're physically addictive and the withdrawals are pretty bad and long lasting. Benzo withdrawal is potentially lethal from the risk of seizures. Good luck, keep it safe!

    I agree with gormur, it's a LOT easier to go to a doctor. Well, how I got mine went something like this;
I told them that I can't go shopping, to parties or large social functions because everything becomes amplified and I can't think straight. I get really stressed out and anxious. I also said something like it has impacted my social life because I can't really go to parties and what have you because of my anxiety. I even throw in that I can't sleep, that usually seals the deal.
Mind you, everything I mentioned above actually does happen to me, and I don't really abuse my benzos, now opiates.. that's a different story.. haha

Keep in mind that abuse of benzos can cause permanent structural brain damage and structural neuronal damage as quickly as 6 months in, so ask yourself if it's worth it.

Maybe better just become a pothead before you're too addicted :)

^^^ I agree. Save it for when you really need it. Instead of getting strung out on those things..
Then you have to deal with the nasty ass withdrawls

That is the second time I have seen someone saying something about benzos and permanant brain damage. I would like some proof and information about this, please.

My mother has been on benzos for about 10 years, and I see nothing wrong, neither does she. Not to mention, no doctor has ever informed her about this, and I would think, legally, before prescribing something that could do that, they would have to inform you.
