So I have an old dear friend who was a really successful medical cannabis cultivator in Northern, CA for a few years. This friend thought he was safe doing what he was doing so long as he didn't go over 100 plants at each of his grow sites. He made it seem like the cops in NorCal didn't care as long as you kept a low profile and weren't messing with / selling other shit. This guy was raking in the dough...and then all of a sudden one day his cell phone stopped working, and he completely disappeared. Mind you I live far away, so there was no way for me to stop by to see what was happening. Anyhow, this was several months ago, the number has been reassigned, and there's no trace of my friend. I'm just lost for what to do to find this guy. I've tried to search the internet to try and see if he was busted or something, but not sure where to go to find this info. Any suggestions?
local news, from a few months ago. he probably got busted. if you know any of his family/ friends you could contact them and say you havent heard from him, wondering if he was alright and such. maybe someone who could check on him, depending on the situation. michigan has an offender tracking system, maybe cali does too? if you suspect thats where he is you may be able to look him up through the system.
