I have this four leaf clover that i share with someone, and it has extreme sentimental value.....it's quite the omen really.....anyways i want to do something cool with it, besides framing it does anyone have any ideas? I thought of getting someone to put it in a glass pendant somehow....but i dont even know how to go about finding someone locally who could do that.... also i broke off one of the leaves on accident........it's super super old, and dried out....i've gotta do something soon to preserve it/to make a sweet sweet christmas/birthday present.
My mom does stain glass and she has pressed flowers between glass and made magnets. If you know anyone that does stain glass or if there's a shop in your area they could put it between two pieces of glass for a necklace. That would look cool. The have speical sauder that dosen't contain lead for making jewerly. Regular stain glass like lamps, suncatchers or whatever use lead sauder.
Is it easy to screw this up? this sounds like an alright idea, especially if i could pour it into a mold shaped like a clover. hmmm? or is this even possible? I like the stained glass idea too..... i can't just do the tape it to somewhere thing, that's too boring. "merry christmas, i taped this clover to a page for u" lol.... if it was just for me, i would do that....but i think it'd be cool if i could do something really awesome with it, so he could carry it on him all the time.
Well.... My boyfriend had a lucky 4 leaf clover, and New Year's Eve, he gave it to me! He just put the clover in between to sheets of contact paper, and cut the square out. Then he took a labeler and labeled it "lucky", lol. But hey, even if you don't figure out what to do with it, I'm sure your man-friend (maybe boyfriend? I wasn't sure, lol) will adore it all the same!
I think its pretty fool proof. From what i've seen, at least. lol. You can pour it into any shape you like. I've seen people pour it into little shadow box charms and then make a necklace with the charm as the pendant. http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/cr_accessories_jewelry/article/0,1789,HGTV_3225_3330134,00.html here is a link to a crafting show segment I saw, in which this woman set herbs and shit in resin... and tinted the resin with pastels! lol. exciting stuff. Hope you figure it out!
