Around my fire pit gets kinda moist and muddy when we all gather round late into the night from all the condensation that goes on...so last fall I started pressing the beer caps that I would find into the earth in the cresent that gets too much traffic to grow grass.

Hehee now it's spring and it's finaly catching on...

My brother just brought me a bag of caps from his wifes restaurant. He said they got over 160 of them in the last two weeks for me! I am so excited because it took me all winter just to get mebbe 20...I'm not a big beer drinker.

Our friend Phil got kinda excited about the idea and he's taking a bucket up to the Elk lodge to collect more. Those guys can put 'em back:)

We should have a real nice beer cap tiled floor around the pit by the end of summer! I am trying to decide what kinda picture to make now. I think an octopus would be real cool. Should be able to just sweep it off and have a real sweet scene.

Got any other favorite uses for bottle caps?

When you can't afford tile this is s fun medium:)

Don't know about the paint, but this is kinda cool...I'd paint it orangish. It reminds me of cheesy poofs.

i've taken beer caps and wire wrapped then and made necklaces or a bracelet...you just have to make sure to either smooth out the edges, or fold them in because it can hurt somebody if it's a bracelet.
what i love doing with beer tops is collecting a ton of different kinds, and putting a single nail through it and nailing it to my door. I have caps from mexico, australia, local beers, tons of cool stuff. Unfortunatley i had to leave the door at my dad's house...it was still a cool decoration for my room :)

My friend did something like that. You know how most trailers have those plastic flower-looking things on the ceiling? Beer caps fit right on them.

A roommate of mine covered the surface of a huge wooden gear (about 3' in diameter) in beercaps. Then he laminated the surface and turned it into a turnable table for the common area.

Beercap designs look all that much cooler when you can spin them.

I think making a set of tables with them would look really really cool! Just make the table out of wood and then nail the beer caps onto it.

Or maybe get a cheap tote bag and find a way to attach the bottle caps onto the bag. I think that'd be cool too.

I've never worked with beer caps, but I just thought those would look really cute if it would work.

Although I love the idea of a murial, great job by the way, I've turned some caps into fridge magnets, just by gluing some circular magnets that I bought at the dollar store. Comes in handy.

Good idea, I'm sure a lot of us would love to see pictures!

The only creative thing I've done with beer caps besides learning how to flick them is make strap locks out of them for my guitar.
