I'm aPhoenix native, but recently relocated just a little south of Tucson to Green Valley for work.

Not much down here but old people, lol...

I don't get up to Tucson much, but looking for fun things to do on weekends. I recently sold my motorcycle so can no longer just hop on teh bike and cruise all weekend.

Any good hiking, fishing, type stuff, or anything else... Tucson is smaller then Phoenix, but sitll a lot bigger then when i was in Yuma for 2 years, lol...

I'd check out the shops in tucson. there are a lot of malls for the size of the city. I usually shop at dress code, on broadway and tucson. their website is www.dresscodeclothing.com. Besides shopping, fourth ave is always fun, for hiking, sabino canyon is a favorite to a lot of people, and really anywhere near the university is going to have a lot of fun stuff-- but still not as much as phx. lol

This post is 2 years old . Shadow Ace only made 13 posts , so he/she is probly no longer on this forum . It would be my guess that not many of this forums members are from the southern Arizona area . Most are spread out over the US and the world . I am just west of Phoenix my self . desert rat

For those around Tucson maybe looking to eat more locally / sustainably / healthily and up for trying some things a bit off the beaten cattle path these folks might be of some interest. :hearteyecat:
They run regular workshops on wild edibles from the area among other fun activities.
