So it's right about that bi-monthly time again where I'm out of weed for a few days until I get payed to buy more and was wondering about the current dope situation I have. My dealer's dry until the end of the month and right now I have two choices on how to spend my 100 bucks come Friday: 1. Buy an ounce of mids (two, sometimes three bowls and I'm high) or 2. Buy a half-ounce (probably a little less) of "dank" (only 1 bowl needed) The reason I say "dank" is because my friend has been smoking me out to what he gets from his dealer and while it really does get you blazed, it burns to a black, charred mess (more than any dope I've had recently) that always needs to be stirred in the bowl because it doesn't wanna seem to turn to ash. Usually I'd always go for the higher-grade but seeing this burnt, unflushed crap at the bottom of every bowl (to the degree this stuff turns into) isn't very appealing. Which would you choose?
i'll take good mids over lousy higher end stuff any day of the week. a lot of stuff that goes for a high price isn't TOO much stronger, only looks nicer. take into account moisture, strength, burn quality, aroma (both pre- and post-light), and (very important) the taste of the smoke and how it feels in the throat and lungs. often mids are a better deal. you get price breaks, its never too wet, you get more for your money, and so on. with "dank" or "nugs" you often end up with improperly dried buds, buds which have been over fertilized, ruining the flavor, pot that burns too hot and scorches the throat, and so on. often its only half again as strong as mids but still costs twice as much yet isnt tastier or anything. dont get me wrong, really good high grade pot is far better than mids, but often (around here anyway) the stuff sold at high prices is simply mediocre homegrown which simply isnt worth double the price (more than double if you're buying quantity...around here price breaks on good pot are the rarity unless you buy more than an ounce or so, whereas with mids the customary price breaks start at five bucks off if you buy a quarter, assuming an eighth normally goes for 25) all in all i prefer better pot, but often i will choose mid level pot over more expensive stuff simply because all things considered its often the better deal and will last me much longer
WTF, 100 for an O? and half O? man where do ya'll get these prices. I need that hook up! 45 an eighth for me 40 if i'm lucky. WTF!!!! i'm mad!
I also has some ''dank'' that wouldnt burn. Although my opinion is i wasnt getting high from the THC, i was high from either sprayed on chemicals or fertilizer that hadnt been flushed out properley. Do me a favour bud, if you get the chance to smoke any of the dank stuff again, ub the black ash inbetween your fingers. If a black oil type substance apears then STAY WELL CLEAR!!!! Very fucking bad for you mate. Go for the mids
If the ''dank'' stuff leaves a black oil type residue on your fingers when rubbed for a few seconds- LEAVE IT ALONE. This is happening all over at the minute where i am. Chemicals are being sprayed on to add weight to the gear. The gear looks the business and at first smells the business, but after closer inspection and the first toke you know it aint. I smoked a joint of stuff like this last night and although i got a 'high' i wasnt stoned. After an hour or so my eye balls felt as if a massive amount of preasure was building up and they was gonna pop! Also a trick dealers do here is snip the top of the baggy off, thus making it harder for you to examine and smell the goods before theyve fucked off to rob some other poor weed warior! sorry im ranting, go for the mids bud.
100 for an ounce of middies is what I pay here. Its like 2 bowls to get to that nice, blazed high. I usually get half ounces of mids for $60, and that lasts me quite a long time. go with the mids.
