I swear, I can't stop going to the doctor because shit just keeps going wrong... that doesn't seem fuckin normal to me.

It all started in October/Novemberish... One night I got this burning sensation in my thighs and it scared me half to death. Soon after I got pernio [bumps on the fingers and toes] SUPPOSEDLY from smoking and what not... Then, I noticed a weird rash on my skin, looked sort of like ringworm, and itches... got diagnosed as Pityriasis Rosea for the time being, I go back to see the derm in a little less than a month if it's not cleared up. Then I had to go get my nose checked out because I've had this bump in my nose which turned out to be a wart. I also have bumps in my eyes which the eye doctor said is backed up tear ducts...ok whatever? Anyway then just Thursday I had to go in AGAIN, because I got a cut on my foot that started oozing and swelling, and was infected. I got a tetanus shot and got put on antibiotics for 10 days... Now, Saturday I noticed a bump in my armpit... I thought it was just a zit at first, but it's not... It's like under the skin... It was larger yesterday, but today it seems a bit smaller. I can feel it, but it doesnt necessarily "hurt" ....it hurts if I apply a bit of pressure.

I was THINKING it could be a swollen lymph node from the infection but.... who knows. I have to go in tomorrow again...and Im nervous as fuck.

Has ANYONE had that before?! I feel like a basketcase because I keep having to go in there, and I am worried something is wrong because I cant seem to stay away from the doctor. I thought I was just being a hypochondriac for a long time, but stuff really does go weird with me.

I also have a popping in my right ear that happens all in a row for a minute or so and goes a way... But I figure its maybe from sinuses and allergies.

    What the hell?!!!!!

I'm sorry all that is happening to you right now! It's not bad to go to the doctor often if you have legit medical concerns... problem is it's expensive and could make you a little hypochondria-prone. I've had weird semi-painful lumps in my armpit before, and for me it was an infection from shaving too much. Could that have something to do with it for you? Next time you do go to a doctor, bring up a question like, "why is all this happening to me?" and see if there's something else going on, like stress, weird allergies or something like that. Feel better soon!

Sounds like you need to start taking some potent multi-vitamins every day with Vitamin C to boost your immune system. I was having a lot of the type of problems you're describing until I started doing that every day. It did me a world of good. Good luck!

it does sound like there may be some underlying immune thing going on. treating the symptoms won't make whatever's causing them to go away. I'd go find a new doctor if I were you. And then I'd do everything I could to strengthen my immune system. Drink lots and lots of water. Cut out any processed refined foods and food with chemical ingredients (at least for a while, to see if it helps).

if you know you have allergies that cause sinus problems, you need to do something about that. It could be something you are eating causing a body-wide allergic reaction. Have you ever seen an allergist?

This particular bump was a hair follicle thing.

But, yeah if problems persist I will talk to the doctor or find a new one.

I am trying to take care of the allergies with a nose spray and daily allergy medication which helps for the *most* part... I have seen an allergist, and I have no known food allergies other than lactose intolerance [and I'm vegan now so that helps] I am allergic to a lot of things that are difficult near impossible to avoid though, such as grass, pollen, trees, dust mites, birds, and cats. Birds and cats are easier to avoid, and to treat my allergy towards, but I have an insane issue with grass especially.

Soon, I am going to set up another appointment with the allergist to get another allergy test especially since my last visit with him was years ago. I will talk about food allergies with him, in case I do have some that I'm unaware of, and I'm going to ask him about allergy shots, since medication doesn't always seem to help.

Thanks for your suggestions, they were very helpful.

    :)

Sounds like your immune system isn't working properly. (Or, it could just be coincedental runs of bad luck.) Ask your doc to do a complete CBC, Liver Function tests and a Chem 21 or any other tests he deems neccesary to check you for myriad systemic issues.

If your doc won't do this, see someone else.

    Healing thoughts for you.

One question, how are your healing? If you cut yourself does it heal in the same amount of time that it did a year or more ago?

    Blessings.

Yeah usually things heal pretty quickly on me, but this case was a bit different, because I wasn't keeping it clean + I was barefooting so it got all gross and infected. Not to mention, I'm struggling with an eating disorder right now, so that's probably affecting my immunities a lot right now.

When I recover, and am eating well again, if I'm still having difficulties, I'll definitely check more into it, but for now I think most of it is simply that I'm not well nourished. I'm gradually starting to eat better, so hopefully I'll be healthy again soon. I THINK most of this started when I relapsed with my eating disorder, but I'm not sure. I'll definitely have them check things out though, if problems persist, and if I'm eating well and they still persist.

An eating disorder will really mess with your immune system. Your electrolytes get thrown off, it can effect your heart and not getting the right nutrients, laxative abuse, vomiting ect can all effect your immune system.

Take care of yourself while you heal. Make sure all cuts are covered, and preferably treated with an antiseptic, too. See your doctor so they can do CBC ect to assess how you are doing. If you contiually get sores that won't heal, make sure your doctor knows this right away.

    Healing thoughts to you.
