COME ON PEOPLE... LAST NIGHT I WAS LIEING IN BED THINKING...hippies arent involved in the war anymore, they arent being activists anymore...ERIC CARTMAN IS RIGHT!!! AS MUCH AS I HATE IT, WE JUST STAY HOME AND SMOKE POT ALL DAY!, so people as a fellow hippie. i think that this easter, we should dress in our hippest clothes. all go out to at least one person on the street, and say. "IM GONNA START A REVOLUTION!" AND also, lets get more involved in protests. also, if u live in minnesota or are ever commin by, im in a band called magdalene kharma, whove dedicated them selves, to spiritual awarness, and protesting hate and destruction. come bye and aid the revolution (i know that last sentence sounded really commercial) but anyways, here the myspace for it www.myspace.com/magdalenekharma LETS GET IT TOGETHER
woodstock193, we have been marching and protesting for several years here in WV. Patriots for Peace is our group. May be a branch in Minnesota? Peace to you... Farmout
I've never been to a protest either >_< But it's diff this year cause I have more active friends, rides, and more money...
I'm working on it, there is a lot to do if you want to do something nice for the world so i think its good to start with some reading. www.worldchanging.com, http://www.odemagazine.com/ two awesome websites to get some inspiration and ideas for everyone who wants to participate in a better world, good luck!! be the change
where you smoking pot when you came up with this plan? but yeah running down the street shouting "revolution" ...thats brillant! and better off ...do it naked!
wat do u mean wen u say revolution anyway...im thinking violent destruction and anarchy on the streets...alot of violence
Then get off of the computer and do something. Go to a damn soup kitchen...habitat for humanity needs volunteers. I promise you'll bring more peace and love to peoples' lives that way. Running down the streets screaming will make you look stupid, it won't invoke anybody any more than a bumper sticker would. Actions, man...actions. Sounds like you're all words.
the times are such, that all we can do is set up for ourselves and our families a lifestyle outside of babylon (whatever that means to you, do it) there is no way a mass revolution resulting in a complete change of the system is possible, we are too scattered and too few. really true hippies/organic human beings are a rarety....maybe if the kids got off their damn cells phones and unplugged their tv's we could get to mainstream america....but i doubt it.
You say you want a revolution Well, you know We all want to change the world You tell me that its evolution Well, you know We all want to change the world But when you talk about destruction Dont you know that you can count me out? Dont you know its gonna be Alright? Alright? Alright? You say youve got a real solution Well, you know Wed all love to see the plan You ask me for a contribution Well, you know We are doing what we can But if you want money for people with minds that hate All I can tell is, brother, youll have to wait Dont you know its gonna be Alright? Alright? Alright? You say youll change the constitution Well, you know We all want to change your head You tell me its the institution Well, you know Youd better free your mind instead But if you go carrying pictures of chairman mao You aint gonna make it with anyone anyhow Dont you know its gonna be Alright? Alright? Alright? Alright? Alright? Alright?
Im starting the revolution... first get a piece of land.. then 200 army vehicles.... etc. In order to form a more perfect union we shall form the militia
its the second amendment... not that ive ever heard of a hippy militia. doesnt it kind of defeat the point of peace to threaten with violence... and such a defended group of people on a small peice of land i think would naturally deteriorate into a cult type situation. theres no freedom there, everything becomes introverted, the whole society turns in on itself, protecting itself from the outside world.
So with the revolution you mean your trying to fight fighting... That sounds hard... Probably start with pennies and beanbags
there are so much more things you can do to make this world a better place, using violence for a revolution doesn't really makes sense to me, instead of that i just would like to participate more in activism and have a job were i can mean something for other people
First ask yourself what kind of revolution you want. If you want to spread love and positiveness and show the world that it can be a better place I fully agree with Brave sir Rubin and Knotdirty. Most of you seem to want to make a change in the world by marching in the streets and annoy people who don't care. Sorry, that doesn't seem to make an impact anymore. You all want to make a great change, but isn't it a great change already by showing your love and care in your neighbourhood? There's a thing between doing nothing behind a pc and yelling for revolution on the streets.
