For me it is Debbie Reynolds - Tammy from 1957, it just makes my heart melt I hear the cottonwoods whisp'rin' above Tammy! Tammy! Tammy's in love! The ole hootie owl hootie-hoo's to the dove Tammy! Tammy! Tammy's in love! Does my darling feel what I feel When he comes near? My heart beats so joyfully You'd think that he could hear! Wish I knew if he knew what I'm dreaming of! Tammy! Tammy! Tammy's in love!

momentally, G'n'R - Patience or Leonard Cohen - Suzanne...it keeps changing all the time, for nothing is the best, at least not objectively.

One of my all time favorites..ALWAYS makes me feel better when I hear it.. Ripple/Grateful Dead If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung Would you hear my voice come through the music Would you hold it near as it were your own? It's a hand-me-down, the thoughts are broken Perhaps they're better left unsung I don't know, don't really care Let there be songs to fill the air Ripple in still water When there is no pebble tossed Nor wind to blow Reach out your hand if your cup be empty If your cup is full may it be again Let it be known there is a fountain That was not made by the hands of man There is a road, no simple highway Between the dawn and the dark of night And if you go no one may follow That path is made for your steps alone You who choose to lead must follow But if you fall you fall alone If you should stand then who's to guide you? If I knew the way I would take you home
Mine are Led Zeppelin- Going To California Led Zeppelin- That's the Way Bob Dylan- Like a Rolling Stone Bob Dylan- Dont think Twice( Its all right) Tom Petty- Free Fallin The Youngbloods- Get Together Big Brother and The Holding Comp.- Piece of my Heart Neil Young- Like a Hurricane
It depend on my mood... really can't decide. What on my mind this moment is "teardrop - Mezzive attack"
I'd probably have to say the entire Greendale album by neil young... well, it's a musical novel, so I can't just pick a chapter... the movie is quite interesting and weird as hell, as usual a'la Bernard Shakey, and the live acoustic solo concert recorded at Vicar Street in Dublin, Ireland is probably my favorite version. I'm waiting to buy the book... covers politics, media, technology, morals, values, religions, accepting, corporations, crime, life in a small town and pretty much all the controversials in life itself.
I love the two that said Patience. That's been my favorite song since I was little. My dad sang it to me to put me to sleep. I'd say Smack my bitch up and Patience.
Carol King - Tapestry Johnny Cash - Flesh and Blood Bill Monroe - Wayfaring Stranger Hank Williams - I'm so lonesome I could Cry John Lennon - Imagine Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing Jerry Garcia - Rubin and Cherise
I was going to say either 'Fuck off' by Kid Rock, 'Superman' the uncensored version by eminem, or 'Big Balls' by ACDC...... But then I had a change of heart. La Vie en Rose by Edith Piaf is my favourite for songs with lyrics. . For instrumentals, I really like Pachelbel's Canon. If I was to list all the songs I find beautiful, I'd have a huge list too.
that willie nelson song on that commercial "i'm sorry i was blind..but you were always on my mind" and johnny cash "hurt" the NIN cover. those are also the only country songs i like... people are strange by the doors... imagine by john lennon...
E.S. Posthumus - Nara Moby - The Sky is Broken Red Hot Chili Peppers - The Velvet Glove Nelly Furtado - Explode Moby - The Great Escape Tracy Chapman - Fast Car Loreen McKennitt - Mummer's Dance
Mummer's Dance • When in the springtime of the year • • When the trees are crowned with leaves • • When the ash and oak, and the birch and yew • • Are dressed in ribbons fair • • When owls call the breathless moon • • In the blue veil of the night • • The shadows of the trees appear • • Amidst the lantern light • • We've been rambling all the night • • And some time of this day • • Now returning back again • • We bring a garland gay • • Who will go down to those shady groves • • And summon the shadows there • • And tie a ribbon on those sheltering arms • • In the springtime of the year • • The songs of birds seem to fill the wood • • That when the fiddler plays • • All their voices can be heard • • Long past their woodland days • • We've been rambling all the night • • And some time of this day • • Now returning back again • • We bring a garland gay • • And so they linked their hands and danced • • Round in circles and in rows • • And so the journey of the night descends • • When all the shades are gone • "A garland gay we bring you here • • And at your door we stand • • It is a sprout well budded out • • The work of Our Lord's hand" • • We've been rambling all the night • • And some time of this day • • Now returning back again • • We bring a garland gay • • We've been rambling all the night • • And some time of this day • • Now returning back again • • We bring a garland gay •
