What size handgun for suicide?

If you were going to kill yourself, what size handgun would you use? Would a .38 have enough power to do the job? Surely a .22 would be to small.

Its not the size that matters ...its how you use it

 

i'm sure a 22 would be perfectly sufficient if done right.

personally, i would use a shotgun, at least 20 gauge. or a rocket launcher, if available.

 

You should use anything you have at hand, but do it as soon as possible. I can't stress this enough. Do this as soon as possible. Preferably this very moment, unless you're busy, then you can do it a tad later.

Go the seppuku route if you really want to be a man about it. You won't do it though, will you? Do it, don't be a pussy.

Actually, a .22 would probably be best.

It'll bounce around inside your skull and make scrambled eggs out of your brain. Definite death.

 

It would almost have to be a .38 - it was also the only gun I've ever had in my hands. :cheers2:

I would say the bigger the better. You don't want to end up pulling the trigger end up with half of your face off and still be alive.

 

Any heavy caliber. I wouldn't want to fuck up and end up like one of those ass-face idiots who fail so terribly at life they even fail at failing. Shotgun or assault rifle. Although to be honest, if I was going to end it all, I would just get loads of morphine or heroin. Much more comfortable, I imagine. And on the off chance you fail, you can just be like "hey, I just wanted to get really high." Nowhere near as embarrassing as having a crater where your face used to be.
