What should be my next step with Butt Plugs?

Hello... man does this feel awkward... so to get this out of the way. I wanted to find a place that I could talk to people with experience with sex toys to get options about what i should buy/do next.

For a bit more context, I'm a Bisexual Male with a girlfriend. I want to be able to get more into sex toys, not only to spice up our sex time, but also in a scene to pleasure my "Gay side". Obviously the best way in our eyes is to get a strap on, though it be easier to use one if I use a butt plug as it helps to prepares the anus.

Cutting straight to the chase, about a week ago yesterday, I went into Ann Summers for the second time ever and had the courage to buy things. This included cleaning wipes, vibrating cock ring, silicon anal beads and a petite silicone butt plug. out of all of the toys, the butt plug has been the most satisfying of the 3.

When I went there, my original plan was to get small metal one as my first, though I got recommended by a staff member to get the Petite Silicone one first. Due to it being a good size for beginners and the material being easy to clean along with it having a bigger base which is good for preventing it going in and getting stuck.

After using it for a week (obviously not back to back for long periods of time), I feel comfortable about Butt Plugs and once I have a better paying job, I plan to get more different ones not only to play with my self, but to prepare for the day my girlfriend gives me a ride.

And now onto the reason for this post, does anyone know what I should do next? Should I continue to using silicone plugs and get bigger ones as I go along with sets? when would be a good time to try a metal plug?

There's only really two places I trust, Ann Summers (going into the store) and Amazon (for the fact I can get stuff delivered to a locker, if not restricted and Ann Summers also sell products on there). What do you guys recommend should be my next plug/s? Any you have found reliable from Amazon? I would really like to know.

(Side note, I'm from the UK, so this sort of stuff would apply more towards stores in the UK, but still chip in if you have experience, likely-hood is I can find what ever you recommend here)

I apologize if this is really wordy, this is my first time posting something like this and it feels a little awkward talking about this kind of stuff. I just wanna see if I can find people who are more experienced to become more knowledgeable about this sort of thing, so I don't make mistakes and stay safe.

I hope to hear from who ever might see this.

I just ordered a set of plugs from Adam and Eve yesterday,I needed a butt plug that filled me up. Something with a T base so I can have it in me anywhere.

I've had good experience with Adam and Eve too. I got a set of 3 glass plugs with increasing sizes from there years ago and I still use them today. They have a round base that's not as comfortable for long hour use but they work great to stretch me out before anal sex

I'm also in the UK and have bought from Ann summers although I tend to also use lovehoney and bondara too. I assume you can't get them delivered to your house, maybe you're with parents. I used to have that issue. You can shop online and get them delivered to a local post office instead then just pick that up. Safer than risking getting dodgy toys from amazon.

There are plenty of sets of increasing sizes to train. As for material, it depends really. Silicone is softer so better for longer durations, but other than that it's personal preference. I'm currently wearing a metal one in bed. Glass can be good as you can cool it down and experiment with different temperatures.

This may not be the best advice but its what I've done. I bought a large lovehoney but plug (i was a bit optimistic). But I find using the larger toy helps for stretching sessions when I'm trying to get wider (if that's what you want).
I use othe toys to get warmed up first, then attempt the large one. Due to it being tapered anyone and use it and simply get as deep as you can until you reach your limit, then slowly try working your way further. Feel free to dm me if you need any advice on stuff, I don't check this too often so may reply slowly.

If you want to use a plug to prepare for pegging which is what I'm currently doing, it's probably best to find plugs with slightly wider necks so once it's in it is still stretching a bit and getting used to the size. Simply playing for a little while before it happens on the day will get you ready for the girth. It's the depth you might need to work on. So you may want to invest in a dildo to get used to deeper penetration.

Again I'm free to chat if you need any help.

I have some metal plugs I play with that I used to help me anal train. My absolute favourite is a silicone vibrating prostate massager.

I've bought several toys from Amazon & been happy with them. Prices there are usually better, for identical products as Adam & Eve or other adult toy sellers.
Look for some variety sets with different sizes & shapes to try, as you "expand" your play. I've got several glass, some silicone & a couple rubber toys.

Be prepared to become addicted to them & always wanting to try new, different & larger toys.

I have found that the larger or longer seem to hit different spots. The thick ones work the prostate harder, while the longer ones work the guts harder.

In response to the OP's basic question "What next", the two things he'll want to work on are size and duration. Training yourself to take larger plugs really does pay off, trust me. But it's also fun to work on how long you can wear one. The most comfortable plug for that probably won't be your biggest, but it will have a good flange on the end that won't irritate your buttocks and a wide enough stem to give you some "ommph" while you move around.

Personally, I think one of the funnest things you can do with a butt plug is wear it out in public under your clothes. I love doing that, you might want to try it.

Njoy large of 2.0 for long term wear. I usually wear the large when I'm out and about. The 2.0 can be a bit too much sometimes. Don't bother with the medium or small. they don't like to stay in.
