What makes you uncomfortable when you are tripping?

what makes you guys uncomfortable when you are tripping. i dont mean stuff that can make you have a bad trip, just stuff that can throw your trip off temporarily.

for me its when people stare at me. i was on a high dose of dxm and i was walking around with a few friends. this woman on her porch started staring at me with like this death stare. i know i wasnt imagining it because my one friend was like "why the fuck is that bitch staring at us?"

it creeped me out and then she started to get up off her porch so i started walking faster. i dont mind people looking at me while im tripping as long as its just a quick glance like "whats wrong with him?" and they go on their way.

but when people just stare and have this death glare like "i know hes on drugs, how disgusting!" i get really creeped out.

 

-Having to interact with sober people in any manner
-interacting with drunk people
-walking past police cars
-Being asked for drugs
-having to baby sit people having a freakout

 

cops
abrasive people
chairs

 

id also like to add when people ask me to do shit for them. i just wanna be left alone but almost every time i trip it seems someone always asks me to help them with something or wants me to do some impossible task. of course they dont know im tripping so i guess they cant really be blamed. but still...

 

when my phone rings, when i see cops, and when i think someone is following me (happens quite a lot for me for some reason).

oh and also when youre playing loud music or the tv is loud and all the sudden it stops like if a cord came loose or something and the silence is like ..... whoa

or if i frickin see another damn political commercial on the tv!! :bomb:

 

a motherducking computer that wants to update in the middle of a smooth trip while surfing youtube.s, and your best song is on and you got the fucking thing full screen... and your laid back and then its all the sudden ..

You should just make a weird face at them if they're glaring at you or wave at them anticly. It's rude to stare anyway

 

SOBER PEOPLE. Or really non tripping people, although when Im tripping I can vibe with people on MDMA but if your sober, I most likely will avoid you. Last time I dosed, I was in a house with one other person, who was actually sober but shes the only exception. Cant really connect with her on cosmic levels when Im tripping and shes not but I do not mind her presence in the least. Anyway, some people came in the house and just started doing what they do everyday, normal stuff, but I was in the room, and it was waaaay too much to wrap my head around. There was one dude and 2 other females but woah I had to get out of there.

 

The only thing that really makes me uncomfortable is big, big crowds of people that I have no control over.

My most outstanding memory of such an experience was dosing 50mg of 2c-e at a concert about a year ago now. Pretty small venue, but right before the show started there was just so much noise being created by all these people, and I was getting just a little anxious. Time was dilating, and I didn't want to have to stand around for another 30 minutes waiting on the artist to come out.
Luckily he came out like 2 minutes after I had them thoughts.

Orison has a pretty good trip annoyance as well.. I've had my internet crash on 150mg of DPT while trying to communicate to an ex-forumer.. that was kinda shitty.

 

sober people definitely; its just weird being around people that aren't on the level.
also not being in control of the music. I've very specific with the music I like to listen to while tripping and nothing can bring me down more than hearing music that isn't conducive to the psychedelic state.

 

weird. I don't really mind sober people when I trip. Only if they know I'm tripping and they purposefully act like dbags, otherwise I've been around a lot of sober people and had great times when they were understanding.

 

IPODS ON SHUFFLE. I cannot shake the thought that some force controls this, each song that comes on being related to the other, and ultimately, perfectly describing the here and now. And on an ipod with 1000s of songs, no wonder it only happens when Im tripping lol.

 

This happens to me sober all the time, Can't say I particularly dislike it but yah definitely a weird feeling. I used to have it happen on Internet sites and like internet radio as well.

 

Just sober? My first bad trip, I was on some dirty ass liquid, and we listened to anthem of the sun all the way through, and by the time the album was over, we were completely gone. Then aoxomoxoa came on... shit hit the fan when Dupree Diamond Blues came on, at the time I was thinking about buying a ring and proposing to my girly... you can imagine the terror lol. I was dupree, my buddy was the judge and it was just hell. I have came so far since then, its good to look back without fear. I figure I became a man that day.

Its a good thing I dont live in an appt building cause I would kill someone with the shit I toss out windows,. I didnt toss anything out this time, but ive been known too...

 

Yep just sober, crazy story there.

 

People who are mad at each other, especially two that are in a relationship.
Even if they are trying to hide it, it's obvious.

The depth and complexity of the anger that I pick up from the tone of voice, facial expressions, and body language make me realize that there's nothing I can do to help. Their suffering gets transferred to me, and it's very hard to shake off.

 

Smoking too much weed always kills it for me. I tend to have a bit of anxiety when I smoke on anything speedy or a psychedelic, and if I smoke too much that anxiety will take hold of my trip and it all goes downhill from there (for 30 minutes at least, then I start to "normalize" and it's all good)

A few hits off a pipe is good though.

 

Funny smells. Most of my friends and I have at least one or multiple cats and nothing is worse than trying to clean a litter box when you're tripping.

Tripping with first timers. How long will it take ? What's is like ? How come I can't see anything yet ? AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

It's not all about seeing things, it's a process, a frame of mind, visuals are only a small part of it.

When I want nothing more than to listen to Lateralus ( tool ) and it skips.

 

When my parents come home and they're all on my case. And I'm trying to act a normal as I possibly can.
