Man, I was so annoyed with my guitar, to the point where I actually wanted a different one... Then I switched my strings from D'Addario to some Martin's that I found around the house. Holy cripes. That made all the difference!

What kinda strings do you guys use for guitar?

ernie ball nines for electric, good and cheap since they wear out quick
adamas for acoustic, they last forever and stay bright

Martins for acoustic...13s, I think, but I can't be certain. D'addario strings for electric, I used to use Ernie Ball Slinky strings and then Fender strings.

This weekend I'm gonna buy some Elixir strings, the type with the coating that increases their life. Just curious about how they sound :)

I use Pyramid Gold flatwounds on my bass. They're really expensive but they last a long time and they're the best strings I've ever used!

I forgot to mention GHS... I use .013s (nickel rockers) and Ernie Ball power slinkies.

super slinky's... like mr samson said, good and cheap... also, the fact that they are readily available helps out, especially when you live in a town that register almost negatively on the culture scale o_O

electric- ernie ball slinkys for easier bending on solos
acoustic- elixers, last a while and have a really great sound to them, kind of slippery when you first play though i use .010's for both
