Sanitaire pro upright and Hover commercial both rack in around 15amps. they can easy bend an American 25cent pieces and swallow a penny no problem.. Wet dry shop vac both the little one and big one..
I have hardwoods, so i just have a small one for the rugs. Some small crappy thing Irm how do you deal with having a german shepherd with carpet? I would never stop vacuuming lol
Dyson DC 54 Animal Vac...... Have Cats.....And Big House.....Need Good Vac.....And Good It Is...... Cheers Glen.
Only our living room and bedrooms are carpet the rest is wooden floor boards like yours. Even after I vacuum the carpets, if I lay on the floor to exercise I will collect hair fibres. But the wood is easy it just rolls around like tumble weeds until it gets trapped in a corner lol. So I have a microfibre broom to sweep it all up. Honestly my carpets arent nice. They needed to be ripped up when I moved in near 5 years ago but because we have the dog it just seemed easier not to. But looking at them.. There's definitely stains and discoloured spots. We might get a second GSD soon so no use in changing the carpets for that lol. Luckily we seem to have got a true short coat German Shepherd so I've see other houses with dogs and we are no where near as bad. I know folks who vacuum everyday. I go once a week, maybe a fortnight if I sweep. I also have a rubber broom that picks a lot of fibres up from the carpet. We are going into 4 season of winter with our and although he puffs up slightly in the mane area, he doesn't seem to ever grow this thick winter coat that sheds and leaves a mess.
I had seen a commercial recently from Dyson that said they no longer made chorded vacuum cleaners. I hope they got the battery right then, not like my hopeless ryobi cordless drill. So was wonder if anyone did have the broom types with a chord and hose, or even a back pack?
I don't have a vacuum so I just sweep the carpet and pick up the little bits by hand. A vacuum is too much responsibility.
I’ve had a few different brands but following family tradition we’ve always had a Hoover Upright Vacuum Cleaner
Upright. It just seems so futuristic to me. Lol. Like where have they been all my life? I been dragging around a ball and chain for 30 years.
rumba rumba rumba, i wish. whatever the management lets me borrow is what i use. where i live is so small of a space, broom and dustpan are usually sufficient.
That Announcement Was Not As It Sounded.......What They Really Meant To Say Was They Were No Longer Going To Do Any "Further Development" Of Corded Vacs......But They Will Always Be Available..... Cheers Glen.
Ohhhhhh okay, thanks for clearing that up. they're expensive though their new range. I'm not prepared to pay over 1000 for a vacuum cleaner or anything near it that's under 1000. 60$ lol. That is my budget. Though my dyson now was like 350 but we've had it for about 7 or 8 years. You can buy 3 lawnmowers for the price of a new dyson. I think that's rediculous. $80 Max.
Mine Cost $1000-00 4 Years Ago......Thought To Myself...GLEN...You Must Be Crazy.....But I Have No Regrets. Was Talking To A Young Shop Assistant Recently About Vacs And She Has Had Hers For 20 Years...... It's A "Rainbow" Brand.....Cost Her $6000-00 Back Then......Sells For Around $8000-00 Today..... Cheers Glen.
i have a hoover. i have no idea how old it is or when/where i got it. i've just had it as long as i can remember. it still does a good job. but then, i don't vacuum nearly as often as i should, so that probably helps with its longevity.
I prefer sweeping but there is a Henry here. Dyson are my least favourite. I spent three years cleaning houses and used many different vacuum cleaners so have over developed opinions. Miele is good. Henrys are just so beautifully simple and have a face.
A dyson. A cordless Bissell Bolt pet, with removable hand thing. My favorite, an Easy Home from Aldi's, for less than $100, which looks like the one below. When we got it the battery died and they sent us two new ones for free. A Rigid. And an old Shop Vac hooked up to my 12" disc sander.
