what kind of tree is this?

    okay, i don't really know where i should post this... but, when my family and I went to florida for spring break, there were these trees all over the place and i thought they looked really cool. i love em. i don't know what they're called though. my mom said they were some type of oak. can anyone tell me what they are?

    I believe it's a Jacaranda tree...:)

    I think it's a Florida Live Oak.

    ^ haha thats funny cause i just tripped for the first time, and the pine trees near here are amazing while ur tripping! you can just see all the patterns and stuff... sweet.

    looks a bit like a jacaranda but it isnt one. I think it is an oak
    or a cuwumbumala walking tree - they are so rare though that very few people have heard of them

    im not sure what kind of tree it is, but its branch patterns are similar to that of the Ginko tree. Ginko trees are my fav, because of all the crazy windy limbs! theres lots of em in Georgia, which is near florida....maybe its a related species
