Within the last 2-3 years I've seen a drastic spike in the use of the word "racist" by the social justice left. It's their ace in the hole attack word they use to ostracize and shun those who challenge their beliefs. Being branded a racist can be both career and life destroying, with devastating consequences one may never recover from. But nowadays I'm not so sure if that word has any relevant meaning anymore.

Lately I've seen SJWs call the following items racist:

    -The phrase Hard Worker: https://thehornnews.com/the-term-hard-worker-is-racist-and-offensive-says-msnbc-host/

    -The American Flag: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2015/03/11/professors-us-flag-symbolizes-racism-should-not-be-displayed-on-campus.html

    -Mathematics: http://money.cnn.com/2016/09/06/technology/weapons-of-math-destruction/

    -Cartoon Frogs: https://www.hillaryclinton.com/feed/donald-trump-pepe-the-frog-and-white-supremacists-an-explainer/

    -Certain Hairstyles: http://louderwithcrowder.com/racist-dreadlocks-guy-speaks-out/

    -The Gadsden flag: http://thefederalist.com/2016/08/05/feds-dont-tread-on-me-flags-may-be-racist-incur-fines/

    -Halloween Costumes: http://www.nationalreview.com/article/426448/school-forbids-hispanic-student-wear-hispanic-halloween-costume-katherine-timpf

-Climate Change (not being a climate change skeptic, just climate change in general): https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/sep/06/climate-change-racist-crisis-london-city-airport-black-lives-matter

    -The Oscars http://thefederalist.com/2016/01/18/the-accidentally-racist-oscars/

-Being critical of Islam (hint: Islam isn't a race): https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/dec/10/islamophobia-racism-dresden-protests-germany-islamisation

-Saying "All lives matter" (Even though it sound like something Ghandi might say) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jesse-damiani/every-time-you-say-all-li_1_b_11004780.html

The word racist has been thrown around so much it has practically lost its meaning. I may be young but I don't recall a time in my life when the word racist was used so loosely as it is today. If these social justice assholes can exploit that word to their own advantage to advance their cause, by using that word on anyone who disagrees with them, and thereby destroying the lives of people who actually aren't racist, then I'll come up with my own definition:

Racist: (noun) Someone who defeated a social justice asshole in an argument.

The problem as I see it is that poor people are more often minorities. And if anything is against poor then by default it's against minorities and therefore racist.

I used to think the courts were very against blacks because if you look at similar crimes you see blacks get harsher sentences. I now think a big part of that is that blacks can often only afford a public defender which in my experience (and I have experience in this) they are as valuable as asking the DA for some leniency.

people forgetting that ideology and belief are prejudice too.
or i guess i should say that people can be prejudice about them.
its just that its so common for people to be, that its even most people condemn each other for not being, that the distinction is almost non-existent.

i'm not talking about minority on majority so called reverse prejudice nonsense either.

people of color are not a minority of the world population. they are becoming, or have become, a majority of the u.s. population,
and it is that fact that the wasp mentality wants to keep people form knowing, that it is becoming harder to deny, is what has wasp panties in a wedgie.

immigration and even 'hate 'the other'' are smoke screens. everyone else in the world knows, that america as a nation, let alone its creators,
is, itself, an illegal immigrant. and that the real americans, and indeed indiginous people everywhere, are not of 'nordic' levels of melanomization.

the wasp lie is unravelling, and they're whinning about it. three of my own four 'tribes' are euro-american.
none happen to be from azhurbajan however, as i believe most euro-americans aren't either.

(azhurbajan, is the location of the caucasus mountains, hence the term caucasian)

so i guess i'm about as 'white' as anybody. though not entirely anglo saxon, and bloody damd well not a protestant 'christian',
let alone a damd fanatical one.

but the problem goes a bit deeper then that, its about a collective, shared narcissism,
that hides and obscures anything else, to deny the validity or even existence of, anything else.

there is that about race, but there is even about species and planet.

there's this thing called growing up.
we need to get over, that the universe neither needs nor has a center,
and our little unfassionable grain of sand, on the shores of the ocean of the infinite,
wouldn't be it, if there was.

The majority of those stories seemed to be silly people just saying silly things.

The 'math is racist' one actually deals with a really dangerous data analytic sentencing. Basically if you live in a higher crime neighborhood and have friends and family members who've been convicted, they determine you more likely to commit recidivism and should get a harsher punishment. In this case you're treated as a demographic while sentencing which is inherently racist.

The idea that you're white is intimidating to us non-whites

I’m thinking back to the eugenics movement of the 1920s and 30s which targeted blacks in America for sterilization and Jews in Germany for extermination, I’m thinking back to Alamogordo in 1945 and the devastating effects of Nuclear weapons, I’m thinking back to the invention of the Eniac, the rise of the high speed information superhighway, and like all men of goodwill, dread the day A.I. becomes self-aware and decides the fate of mankind in a nanosecond - You and your kind are responsible for this

i have more trust in the impartiality of technology then that of humanity.

as long as technology is chosen, programmed and deployed by humans, it is still human lack of logic and impartiality though.

I'm not disagreeing that the term racist may be applied incorrectly sometimes

But on the other side of the coin i think a lot of white people are really oversensitive to any suggestion that minorities have suffered at the hands of white people, to the point where it seems like they completely shut down at the mere suggestion that racism still exists

I once had a black co-worker accuse me of being racist. I responded, "I'm not a racist. I've opposed racism all my life. I just don't like you." If I had called him a ****** or any other such slur that would have been racist. But calling him a jerk was not.

Also, don't judge all cartoon frogs by the actions of one. Green lives matter!

The term Racist is only used by the left when they lost a argument or have nothing else to say.
It is racist to use the facts that the Blacks have been played by the Left since before FDR !
Every city that the left controls have higher crime rates ( black on black ) and higher TRUE unemployment rates for blacks that cities controlled by the right. Just look at the top 10 for crime, the top10 for poverty, the bottom 10 for education and the fattest 10 !

Blacks have been taking advantage of since the Mulsums started selling they into slavery and the democrats starting buying them .
First they bought them as slaves and after Rebulicans freed them the Democrats bought them with Government FREEBIES.

But if we say the truth on any of this we are laced racist

Some people are overusing the word racist indeed. Then others who notice this blow that issue up like this: the guy who's calling everything racist is (leaning to the) left, so the left is overplaying the term racist :p
Then people who lean to the left take offence and say stuff like the right is downplaying racism by stating the left abuses/overuses the racism issue.
Oh yeah, then you have the people who come around pointing this out and they're called politically correct for stating that it is how people making sweeping generalisations and insisting it really is like that is what is the issue here.

The truth is nuanced. There is racism (from all kinds of people) that is worthwile to be adressed. There are also things that are technically racist as well but they matter far less. Trying to make them matter just as much as when racism is really discriminatory is pointless and dubious. They're making an issue of something not because it offends people but because it CAN BE labeled racist.

Same with for example a thing like white privilege. It seems in the country or at least the area of the OP white privelege is overplayed or abused in order to make a point (just because this is almost always done by people who lean on the left of the political spectrum does not mean the whole left thinks like that ;)). No, not everyone who makes an issue of white privilege is right. But just because a lot of them are wrong doesn't mean there isn't any white priviliege at all.

One of those links is from Hillary's official campaign website. Silly people saying silly things.... Fits like a glove. ;)

The problem with these silly people, is they have loud voices and have gotten their way. They have shamed people into resignation and suicide, changed laws in accordance to their fascist beliefs, successfully banned non offensive language and imagery, encouraged violence and destruction within the black community, took comedy away from college campuses, and then some.

Math isn't racist. Facts aren't racist either.

Aren't you kind of 'stooping' to their level here?
