i.e. : do you dunk your head in a bucket for 10 mins.?, just massage a little bit on your scalp?, etc. Also, how do you go about rinsing? Do you squeeze your dreads, rub your scalp in circles?, etc.
I wash with normal shampoo but only on my scalp, then I let the soapy water rince through my dreads as I wash it out. I then squeeze my dreads with a towel and let them air dry. My dreads are a few years old though,so if you got baby dreads normal shampoo is prob not the best idea.
Stand under the shower till I get bored, or alternatively stick the head on "massage" (jetwash) and stand under the shower moving my head about a bit until I get bored.
I've stopped washing mine except for my scalp. I put my hair up and wash through my scalp and around my head with my lush shampoo. I just can't be bothered washing my dreads anymore. I fear that it's rough for them since the bleaching and I can't be arsed with how long they take to dry and how heavy they get when wet. Unless I got muck or something in I won't bother washing them
I don't get what people mean when they say they don't wash their dreads but wash the scalp? The dreads are getting wet and soapy so they too are getting washed no? Or do you mean you don't actually grab each dread and rub soap on it? I wash close to once every two weeks, I make a baking soda paste with water and sometimes a little honey then I rub my scalp with my palms, rinse that out. Use vinegar/water as a second rinse, let it sit and rinse again.
I stick my right leg in and then I stick my right out. Then I stick my right leg in and I shake it all about. Then I stick my head wet and rub this lush bar all round and lather up the scalp. The I get my head in and rinse a few times and shake it all about. Shower singing is the best. And for some reason the hokey pokey is always my first choice.
The same as normal hair as well basically. Normally lather it up, massage it into my scalp and such, clean my body, then rise everything out.
Every few days: Shampoo scalp Every week: Shampoo dreads Every other week: Deep Cleanse with baking soda mix. Ive started using lavender shampoo and its just etogihdtsognodgn SO NICE!!!
every few weeks or so. just wash them like normal hair. but before i get out i always do a rinse with cold water. it makes your pores close up and i think it makes my dreads a bit tighter feeling.
lmao its just hair i just go to the beach an let the currents wash them out then i just put shit on em that smells good like the dust left over from nag champa incense or tea tree oil
Lather it up at the roots, lather up and let it run down the dreads, wash out, then crawl out of the tub with the heavy mass of locks on your head crying...
