so, what is your philosophy on the ultimate nature of reality. feel free to condradict other people's points and argue your own. just please use logic! i beleive that reality is one long infinite journey. love has a high frequency, and fear has a low frequency. our 'goal' is to learn from the lower frequencies and eventually traverse up the spectrum in the direction of love, and past love. for eternity. this life is but a speck -- although it is very important -- in the whole of reality.
there is reality, but only within ever single individual. We all make up our own and its different one to another, yet there are rules we all have to conform to from the physical world. the physical world is a medium for which realities can thrive. or somthin.
reality is your veiw on where we live....i believe everything cycles around earth, since obviously everything comes from earth and returns to it after we die hence reincarnation, other dimensions and stuff i believe in but a little skeptical but i do believe their is one hundred percent life on another planet somewhere....another belief is definatly anything is possible on earth...even telpathy!?!?!?!?!?!
There is only reality if you are assuming you can trust what you observe. You have to make a base assumption that you can trust what you observe. I think the odds of not being able to trust what you observe are equally if not more likely than our observations being "true".
Reality is there, reality is different for different people, same reality, different planes of it. I don't question reality, my main question is why does reality exist.
first i want to say that i am not settled on any of this yet, but as of now heres where I'm at (and the previous posts touch on it) First reality has to vary from indivdual, but that can be denied and said thats just a perceived variant of the true reality. But I don't know if there is a true reality that exists or not, and when I hear the term "ultimate reality" I think of the a higher being, such as God, because thats the term often used by scholars of religion. but for now ill say each person has their own perception of reality, which is thus their reality (but the Buddhists might argue that is because ignorance is blinding us)...sorry my studies affect me a lot this notion of truth makes sense and that makes sense because i think the possibility of alternate realities exist, perhaps in a place with the same physical properties and rules as ours, or perhaps with different ones...or perhaps even both...but the truth that we perceive might only fall into an area in which the same physical laws exist i dont believe everything revolves around Earth, but i believe everything that is created comes from something that has ceased to exist in the world...basically everything revolves around the world...thus i too believe in reincarnation. I do believe in alternate relaties, dimensions or something but the way i think about it is hard for me to put into words. but i think we can be alive in a few different times, in different relaities (whether in the same physical realm or not)...likewise this leads to my belief in the the ability of higher consciousness, a network which some can plug into (more and more at this time) and share creating the akashic records (but if this is the case, the network may only pertain to worlds/realms that abide by the same physical laws) {i hope that makes sense} lastly i believe reality and time are cyclical, and reincarnation can throw us anywhere...but in our lives as we KNOW them, in the reality of an individual life time, of course time will appear linear. {i apologize for the repetition of words, and the lack of flow in my post...but i do hope it makes sense, at least to some}
my philosophy on reality changes constantly, it has to move with reality for it to be of any worth. the only way to keep up, realistically, is to keep yourself open and receptive and to never lose the drive of wanting to know more. keep those qualities and life will be one endless discovery. most else is just part of the irrelevance that comes and goes. hope that doesn't sound cheesy...
I kind of agree with the philosophy of Greek solipsism, there is no true reality for everybody, the way in which one perceives "their reality" is just their own product of their environment, and you can never truly understand the physical foundations of reality because nothing is true, the only thing that is true is our inner selves, and we cannot see anybody else's view on it because physical reality is ultimately phony...
The more time I spend here, the less I feel capable of having an opinion on ultimate anything. Its just freaking awesome
Well after reading the topic I asked myself this question, I ended up going on a walk to one of the closer parks. It was kinda funny because what you esentialy see is your reality. If you're trippin acid walkin in a park it's going to look hella different than when you aren't, or different parts of the year. What people see and emotions they feel they take action becuase of how they see reality. Reality is however you want to depict it as. It changes drastically for all of the decades, centuries, however you want to look at it. 100 years ago people were not thinking of the ozone layer, who won between 2 overpaid athlete games, c checking their email and text messages, ect. I think people need to have a "basis" of reality though in a sense, basiclly keeping sane, not being a dead head? Idk, i could ramble about this forever, but damnit where's my matches...
goodvibes very good post, but let me rephrase a little bit, i meant everything that lives on earth revolves around earth, however earth revolves whatever is in deep space that started all of this glorifullness up so basically i love you :cheers2: lol i am feeling pretty good right now for various reasons lol....and another thing i owuld to restae is that iam skeptical on other realities simply because i havent gotten too deep into phsydeclliacs so my mind is still fresh to veiwing reality differently and its amaizng...so hears to our one life again :cheers2:
