Wishing my son sweet dreams, after the "good night, I love you's". It has been a beautiful ritual for all of his life. Sweet dreams all...

    My 17 y.o. son's mom,

Trying not to get upset over minor issues that don't really matter.

Breathing. It's strange how something so automatic is so important. Deep breaths when I'm about to lose it always calm me down. In the time it takes for me to focus on my deep breaths, I always think how the things I'm about to "lose it" over aren't as bad as they first appeared.

"in a hundred years, will this really matter?" chills me right out, usually. unless it's something that WILL matter in a hundred years time. and yes, sleep helps too. :)

Staying as close to nature as possible.
When I'm in the woods, out in the garden, playing or listening to music, or sitting by the woodstove all tension just slips away.
I love to play with my dog, pet my cat and kiss my husband... all this helps also.
Also when I'm cooking a good healthy meal.

And of course there is always time to stop and count my blessings.

peace and mellow yellow to all,
    teepi

Teepi, you n me is too much alike, it's scary.

I love sitting in front of the fireplace with my hubby token on a bad one, sippin' wine. Not having to say anything be feeling it all around. I feel at one with Creator when I'm nurturing my little seedlings in to healthful food and my flowers/herbs are my passion.
I like to sit by the lake and watch the fishies swim about and the birds flying high to get a look see. I like to let my dogs run about chasing a grasshopper or some other silly thing.
I get mellow when I'm sitting at my desk watching the setting sun make pink, purple and red swrills across the texas sky. I see the beauty of a babys wisper in the soft shadows of the night, and a sound of laughter cutting across the pasture.
Life is so full of wonder. Blessed Be.

I'm a nature girl too...looking at the mountains, absorbing their strength, listening with my heart to what they have to say...also listening to the trees and the birds...typing this even, makes me feel more peaceful.

For me it would be a combination of things to make it work.(Being and staying mellow)
    1) Wake up.(always a welcome surprise)
    2) Take a piss.
    3) Make some coffee.
    4) load the bowl
    5) load myself with said bowl
    6) Ummmmm,,,,I forgot.

Knowing me.......knowing exactly who I am and what I believe to be what is important and loving my children for who they are......spins my world and keeps me level when others might just not. :)

I have to take my Klonopin twice a day (as prescribed by my doctor), otherwise I'm pretty uptight without it. Then a lot of times when I can't sleep I take Ambien to help with that.

Does smoking mother nature do you any good at all? I've got my MM card, and I find that it does the best overall job,,,,for me.Beats killing the kidneys and liver.I don't trust doctors or their chemicals.

Getting enough sleep, eating right, and being out in nature. I am also a huge introvert and find myself getting irritated with everyone if I don't get that alone time.
