What Is Your Biggest Regret In Life?

A pretty easy question really which I hope you will try and answer in this thread.

My biggest regret?

That’s easy.
Marrying my first Wife!

But then.

I regret trusting some people at certain points in my life.

 

Yes I can certainly ephasise with what you say there Gal.
If I could have £10 for everyone who has stabbed me in the back over the years, I could go on a cruise!

 

mostly that it isn't twice as long, and everyone isn't born with mental and social advantages.

 

Marrying my second wife. I knew it was wrong when I did it and did it anyway.

 

OK, I'll go with the majority here. I regret not asking to be castrated before puberty. Sexual desires caused me to make so many mistakes in my life. And no telling how much money was spent pursuing it.

I got married the first time because a sexy young girl lied and said she was pregnant, when she wasn't. I should have just walked away when I found out the truth but it was the thoughts of unlimited sex, with that cute young thing, that let her convince me to marry her anyway. And, crap, I could have had about the same amount of sex without marrying her. The two years we were married, I was in training for Combat Control and was away most of the time.

My current wife and I got married almost 49 years ago. Again, it was that fantastic young body that I couldn't resist that cause this one. And I had to make a decision, by her demand, to not reenlist for a third time, if I wanted to marry her.

Being asexual would have made my life better!

I quit a good job, but I worked away from home. Just got tired to being on the road. I settled for less money, but a happier life.

I have two big regrets, the first was not joining the police when I had the chance, well two chances actually, and the second was not marrying a certain young lady many years ago. I'm perfectly happy now, but if I'd have done things differently I'd have been happier a lot sooner.
Someone once said that we only regret the things we don,t do, not the things we do.
