We are born with freewill. But is true freedom being able to do whatever you want? or should that same freedom come with limits? who should set the limits?
walking around half naked kissing the same sex in a parade in front of McDonalds on Liberty Ave in Pittsburgh today. .
What if we are trapped forever though, having to reincarnate over and over..maybe even becoming the person you were before because you didn't get it right in your last life..
Naturally there are consequences that may set limitations on us. Perhaps freedom lies in being free from the limitations we place on ourselves such as our fears. A detachment from our thoughts, our created identity.
that sounds pretty freeing to me. a good shit is one of my favorite feelings, imagine a 12000 pound shit.
Freedom is ability to forget any distinctions between who we are and what we are doing, and become as beautiful outside as in. For if we have no faith in our own free will, memories, awareness, dreams, and personal journey, then we cannot have any of these.
the kind of world you want to live in, and what makes it so, or not so, is what 'sets' those 'limits'. no one is free, when everyone is robbing each other of thinking their own thoughts, dreaming their own dreams and believing their own beliefs, and when someone demands someone else's attention, by loud or destructive behavior, that is the same taking whatever possessions they value, possibly even worse. what aggressiveness creates is tyranny, not freedom. if some people secretly, or even openly want that, well apparently some people do. but freedom is a world in which no one need fear censure for persuing the gratification of creating and exploring. if you have to be rich to be free, you're not, and neither is the country you live in. and no one has yet explained how you're supposed to thrive without surviving, nor what greed is actually good FOR. its not the little green pieces of paper that are unhappy. without logic there is only uncertainty, even as to life itself without consideration, for all things, and mutually between creative beings, there is only tyranny and without honesty of course, there is only ignorance. has nothing to do with gender, and isn't because some book says its the nice thing to do. and the universe isn't crewel, it doesn't care that much to be, but it IS up to us, to avoid creating tyranny. that is what the opposite of freedom is, and lack of consideration, regardless of ideology or belief, is how we create it. it ISN'T a "who" that sets those natural limits, its how the universe works, that they derive logically from. its not about me, its not about you, its not about some invisible big guy up in the sky. its just how it works.
