    Happy Friday!

So what is the plan for the weekend?

I actually don't have any solid plans this weekend. I had a pretty busy week - I was out and about with friends every night from Monday - Thursday.

This weekend will involve a lot of book reading, a couple of gym visits, a possible rollerblade around seawall, and most likely a beach day on Saturday or Sunday.

We also need to go get my wedding rings sized, because I lost some weight, and they don't fit me anymore. Oh, and I really want to go to the thrift store at some point and get some clothes.

My husband is dying to go kite surfing, so whatever day he doesn't go do that, we will go to the beach. Probably Sunday, but who knows.

It might be ambitious, but it would be great if I could finish my book this weekend. I am only about 1/4th of the way through, though.

I love side gig's that are primarily for fun.

I have a babysitting gig that I do for fun. I get paid a little bit, but it isn't about the money at all. My main motivation is to spend time with the baby, and to help my friends out.

Gardening, taking my son and dog to the park, possibly going thrifting for some whimsical items for my garden, reading, hopefully catching up on sleep. I have a baby shower to attend Sunday but I honestly hate going to events like that (because of social anxiety and also they're boring af) so I may just drop my gift off next week instead.

My mom said she would drive me around Sunday to help me steal.rocks out of river beds for my garden. I love my mom.

XD this reminds me of my mom. Whenever we were driving when i was a kid and she saw a pretty rock, she'd pull over and steal it for the garden.

I agree, baby showers are boring as fuck. I don't go to them. I went to one very early this year and it was a waste of a day, so after that I decided that attending baby showers is just something I don't do, plain and simple. I've already declined invites to 4 this year. I don't do baby showers. Nope. Not me.

Thrift store shopping is so fun. Do you ever buy clothing in thrift stores? Probably 95% of my wardrobe is second hand.

Weeks don't end, they roll over into the next one.

Same stuff I'm doing every other day, it doesn't "end"

I am the ssame way, the only time I ever buy clothes new is if there is a style I really like that I can't find in thrift stores - but this rarely ever happens, I almost always find what I'm looking for in thrift shops. Thrifting is one of my favorite hobbies

Oh, mine too. My mother in law and I do thrifting days where we hit up several thrift stores in one day. We always have so much fun, and I've found some super great pieces, and books, oh, so many books.

Sadly, though, I didn't find exactly what I wanted in the thrift store today. I was looking for denim mini skirts, and while they had several, none of them fit me.

I did manage to find a few sports bras, which I desperately needed, although I bought those new.

Have you decided if you are going to go to the baby shower or not?

Gotta study for an exam on Tuesday that I keep putting off. So no fun for me. Hopefully this Sunday evening I'll get to go on a date and the plans come through; we've had to cancel the last 3 times which has been super annoying.

Thats nice you're close with your mother in law. I'm not sure I could spend a whole day with mine lol.

I know someone who found a book about a prolific but little known serial killer the other day in Goodwill for a couple of dollars. Turns out it is a really rare book - I looked it up online and only found a couple of copies, both priced over $300!

I don't think I will go to the shower, this girl has a million friends so she won't miss me and also I can't bear the thought of spending a chunk of the day making small talk with all her friends lol

i don't know what's going on this weekend. tomorrow i have a ton of work to do. sunday will hopefully be a beach day, weather permitting. there's also a family funeral coming up at a currently undisclosed date, so maybe that will be sunday instead, i don't know.
