Sorry, BrownTripleQQ, your post made me think of this question. I got a revolving list of like 5 things. But the sometime nicest thing anyone ever said to me was: "Dude. You know what's so great about you? You're just so you w/out any pretenses." That was Nicole. aka Lucha-viva (in another life). huge cosmic mental hug to youuuuuuuuuu nicolitta@! LIP!
There are lots of things, but today my boyfriend called me in the middle of the day to tell me happy 10 month anniversary, but he was just planning on leaving me a message since I was in school. I had accidentally left my phone on so in the middle of Spanish it started ringing so while rushing to turn it off, I noticed it was my boyfriend and so my teacher told me to answer it and put it on speaker phone. :H So he was completely surprised that I answered the phone and more surprised that I had it on speaker phone so my entire class was listening. But what he said was the sweetest thing ever: "Umm.. hey guys. This is Allie and I's 10th month of being completely in love, even though we're separated by 1000 miles. She's the world to me and I just wanted to remind her of that. Te amo, sweetie." So of course I said "Te amo" (I love you in Spanish) back to him and my entire class thought it was the sweetest thing ever. I love my boyfriend. ^_^
the only thing that anyone has really said to me that was nice were three things: You have beautiful eyes Nice tits Your a really mellow person its sad thats it.
well, becknudefuck, you're certaintly too young for me to tell you alll the wonderful things about you that Ii'm sure there are to tell but I will stick with you are the nicest person with a name that almost contains the word fck I have ever known. PLUS you're a fan of dimebag so you must be a metal chick. which is cool. Good luck with that heavy metal!~
AWESOME. gets 5 (five!) stars. ggggggggooooooodddddd job#@@! what a charming bfriend you got. Maybe you should just go to whatever city he's at for college.
I was talking to my boyfriend (at the time) on the phone and he was pushing my buttons trying to see how much it took to piss me off, so he was talking about hot girls and I said, "Oh, I don't mind, as long as you tell me I'm pretty every now and then," and without hesitation, he said, "Amanda, I think you are absolutely beautiful. Hot and beautiful are two totally different things, hot is just physical, beauty is an all-around thing and you are beautiful." Made me melt, hehe. He also told me he was blessed to have me and the happiest he had ever been in his life. It confuses me now, but I don't care because I was happy then, lol.
Ivy's paternal grandmother told me that her and Mr. Troy (Ivy's paternal grandfather) thought I was a good mother. This was nice mainly because shortly after Ivy was born I left Anthony (their son) and moved to WV. I guess they understand that their son is a rat bastard...
I had someone tell me the other day that everywhere I go people must stare at me because I'm so beautiful. (I don't believe it for a second though.)
REal nice to have such an uplifting thread There are so many nice things people have said to me (they mercifuly outwiegh the bad things with no contest) but one of the things that stick in my head is some time in our first year of marriage, my husband told me there was no way I could get rid of him and that we could make it through anything. We are'nt romantic people, and that really meant alot to me and has been a source of some kind of security. (...and after twelve years I am starting to believe him ) Big Love y'all
Hmmmm, I've had a lot of people say romantically nice things to me, but the most important complinent I've received came from just a platonic friend. She called and said she wanted to talk to me. When she came, she explained she wanted to talk because I'm her "least judgemental friend," and she wanted to talk about her problems with depression. I try to be accepting and this made me very happy that she considered me her non judgemental friend and shared her problems with me. Peace
I had someone tell me once that I absolutely MUST work with children because kids love me and latch on to me like magnets. That made me feel good. This one time my boyfriend told me we didn't need to get married because we practically are already lol that made me laugh...but then he said it's cos we're soulmates and meant to be with eachother - I felt really loved and happy by that.
someone once told me that my smile was like christmas lights on a black street... that was nice. Wierd for a guy to get that , huh? from a female friend while we were playing pool one night, about five yrs ago.
a really cute dude said i had a nice smile on the bus the other day...its not the nicest thing anyone has said to but i thought id throw it in bcos it was random and lovely...my first love told me hed never met someone with a more amazing mind then mine...that was pretty nice...and the usual thing thats guys say to girls about their chest hehe
I've been called 'genuine' before, I loved that. =| Also when people say I'm pretty or nice or whatever, I find it hard to believe them but it's sweet to hear. Y'know? Also, I've been told I have a nice bum and a nice chest ('cause my boobs are a decent size). So, yeah, that's kinda nice to hear sometimes.
"you are perfect" or "you are my favorite ******" tends to stick out... its more the way the guy said the second one than the quote...
"You're the kindest, most magnanamous, generous person I know." Ahh, actually still makes me well up. My dad said this to me, and he never says anything nice to anyone.
Never got anything quite as nice as you guys... The best I can recall was, in response to some pictures I sent an online female friend, "No offense or anything, but I don't believe for a second that it's really you. These look unrealistically good." or something among those lines.
