What is the easyest method of joint rolling for a newbie?

Iv been smoking weed for about a year now in my bong , but lately i started liking smoking joints...well i see all my friends have different methods ... one pre-rolls.... then adds the weed , or my other friend just rolls it right away They both tried showing me i never got HANDS on experence , so im kinda confussed and today i wanna try just rolling a pre-roll joint....

but im scared how do i know if i packed it too totight or didnt pack it enough?

lol....anyone wanan help me out?

 

Tight is good. Well,tight then loose as you get to the roach. Hard then soft,just as nature intended.

 

haha, youll definelty have a couple nasty or just plain sad-looking joints until you start to get the technique down. an easy way to roll is to use the pencil trick... i dont know it well enough to explain it, but i know other people on here use it. basically you wrap the paper around the end of a pencil and drop your weed in til its full... i think. i dont like that method.

just search around the 'net for 'joint rolling help' or something... and practice makes perfect!

 

Pick up a perfect roller. Probably at a smokeshop, maybe a gas station. Just put the weed it, roll the paper down, lick, roll, pop it out, light it up.

don't preroll, that's just sad. buy some rolling tobacco and practice until you roll ok then try with weed. using a cardboard cylinder or cigarette tip as a roach might help you to roll nice cones, that's how we smoke them in PT and pretty much in the rest of europe. american joints are ugly.

American joints aren't ugly, they just take practice.

What I would suggest is that everytime your group smokes a joint, you roll it. This gives you pracitice and gives your friends, who know how, incentive to help you.

 

american joints are ugly but man.. british chav spliffs, theyre shite.

 

A roller gets the joint done until you can roll a decent one yourself. Definitely get a pouch of tobacco to practice with, you don't have to smoke them you can give them away.

other then that take a rollie, lick the glue, wrap the rollie around a pencil and form the shape of it, make sure the glue is stuck to the other paper

slide the rollie up the pencil, pack the joint then just twist the ends and smoke

 

Use a rolling mat. Thats what I do as I'm a rolling n00b.

 

If your a tobacco smoker and you wanna learn how to roll a spliff then buy a pack of rolling tobacco and just keep rolling and see what works and what doesnt and eventually youll gain your own technique and even though rolling spliffs are different to roll-ups, you can still apply your knowledge and techniques learnt.

 

I roll great joints with the dollar bill method, it works much like a rolling machine.

Helps not to have a new bill better a little worn.

After it catches the paper it rolls it perfect.

I use pipes now I get great 2 toke weed.

Back in NYC I did joints because we did not have as good as out west here.

 

I don't really get that concept.

I never roll, my pals always do it. but i don't understand how putting something at the tip works. do you like just roll it in with the joint? what works best for that, like where would i get a small cardboard cylinder or something.

cut a strip of index card about 1/4 in' wide by 1 in' long and roll it up sorta tight so you have a 1/4in' cylinder to use as a tip. and yes you roll it inside the joint with the weed.

 

usually a train ticket does the trick, or the packet of rolling papers.

learning to roll is a valuable skill. machines are good for demonstrating how the cigarette should be rolled and handled but using a machine when you can just use your hands? putting in the practice is worth the reward. ive enjoyed machines but once i could roll properly the machine just ended up being more effort

 

^^^yeah it's like willy_wonka_27 said, although i like them a bit wider, about 1/2 inch. it enables you to roll better and inhale better, and smoke the whole joint comfortably.

 

not sure what you mean by chav spliffs, over here chavs roll pretty much as everyone else. except the retarded ones (they're quite a few)
