Karl Rove came to my school and a bunch of stuck up Republicans came over to see him, so we made a sign saying "Upper class, kiss our ass"... (in smaller letters on the bottom: "Signed by Jesus and his homies"). I don't think we took protesting too seriously, but we did make sure to get high while protesting like good hippies are supposed to do.
that's a great sign... love it other signs as well as t-shirts i've made are... you may have one of these, forgot which ones i sent you "tap beer not wire" "make nookie not nukie"
Yes, I have the nookie one, and it's great... Man, you can't imagine how much people love your t-shirts... I wore a couple to Disney World and to Daytona during bike week and got a million comments.
i cannot remember....due to the drugs...high school was good to me if and when i remember i'll get back to you
if you really give a dam about peace, stop creating markets for war. something to that effect. i forget the exact wording. =^^= .../\... i also designed a bumper sticker (split horizontaly) once that had the words "if this country had a real transportation system" on the side of a train (accross the upper half), above an outline picture of a traffic jam with the words "we would not be stuck in traffic" superimposed over it (accross the lower). =^^= .../\...
i have a poster-style sign that i made for a rally years ago that's all glittery and says "peace" with a rainbow peace sign and blue sky, a golden sun, a field of daisies and blue water. i don't think it's a particularly effective or meaningful sign, but it's pretty so the media's cameras tend to zero in on it as if drawn by a magnet. i think the best sign i ever made was when i brought shakti to a candlelight vigil in her sling, and carried a sign that said "milk not oil". my then-7-year-old son once made one that said "george bush is a poopy-head." i think i like that one better.
I have this amazing picture of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in my room, it's of them in their bed in, and they have their arms around eachother similing at the camera, and holding up peace signs. I took it to this printing place and had it scanned, and blown up real big. I then put that picture on one side of a posterboard, and on the other I had typed and printed out "Make love, not war" in rainbow, and it also had peace signs all around it. I still have it hanging in my room. It was the best protest sign I ever made
