Farflung - 20000 feet per second. Especially the song Landing on Cydonia, but there's more spacey stuff on the album I also really recommend Mr. Quimby's beard but it's kinda hard to find. And the Liquid Sound Company - Exploring the psychedelic never gets old :cheers2:
Arcade Fire - Funeral Brightblack Morning Light The Flaming Lips - Do You Realize? (song) Why? - The Vowels Pt. 2 (song) Eluvium - An Accidental Memory in Case of Death (very tranquil and beautiful, it's a solo piano work). Ólafur Arnalds - Variations of Static (same deal, it's not noise.)
get Neighborhood #2 (Laika), my body is a cage, and Wake Up by arcade fire. ideally you should slkjfoahys the album.
gong is amazing. they will do the trick. i could keep going and going but once u have gong. u will need no others.
The third era. No hehe, they've been around for at least 30 years. I think they come from the 70's and they're really spacey and psychedelic. Sometimes I compare them a bit to Hawkwind (which if you haven't checked out you should!!) which also started making psychedelic rock in the 70's and also did some experimental vague stuff at times. But were Hawkwind developed a really legendary space rock sound Gong did a bit more experimental psych stuff. I don't really listen often to Gong but some time ago I had a really great time with listening Gong - Master builder and Hawkwind's Electric teepee in a row But both of those albums do not really define the total sound of the band cause they explored a bit around in the psych and space stuff and so the sound can differ quite a bit per period/album.
Don't use Limewire, soulseek is much better. You get more results, find rare bands, and have much less viruses. Quoted for truth, really recommend soulseek instead of limewire as well! Hey Carl, just wondering if you know Mr. Quimby's Beard? Out there and the Definitive unsolved mysteries of mr Quimby's beard are both awesome psychedelic space rock albums
rjd2 bassnectar kinobe toubab krewe medeski (scofield) martin and wood garaj mahal EOTO zilla zappa miles davis (specifically bitches brew and tribute to jack johnson... no, not the lame ass corporate acoustic guy)
Tool 10,000 Days is a good one. Frostwire is another good place. Exactly like limewire only less viruses, different color and it's out of the country(USA) so its not illegal(I guess).
