    I have this feeling often.
I had it since I moved from the place where I grew up... at first it scared me, now Im used to it. Its a very strong feeling.

I feel like I have dreamt or lived this life before.

    Do you get Deja vu?

I have that happen often. I'll be in different scenarios and I'll just stop and stand there trying to figure out why it feels so familiar like I already know what is going to happen before it happens. It's a weird feeling.

    Yes.

I often have deja vu about the same things.... one of them (and I can't remember what it is now exactly-I can only remember it happening before when it happens again), is when I am reading a book that I KNOW I have never read before and read a few sentences and feel deja vu not just about the book but about the overall feeling in the atmosphere around me...

Some people say deja vu may be something about how there is a gap in how we process information... like, we see something and don't process it right away and "think it" but if you would happen to process it subtly faster-and then process it right after in your conscious mind, that can create deja vu.

Other people say it may be situations that are so similar to something that has happened in the past... maybe something when we were a kid or really, anything that we don't consciously remember but somewhere in our brains we know.

There are lots of things it could be...and it may mean different things at different times..

Anyone know why lately sometimes on here I have words in my posts underlined twice in blue and when I hover the mouse over it it is some ad? In this thread it's the word "information" and something about sports came up. The fuck?

Do you see the word information underlined in my first post on this thread?

Yea, I had just noticed in on my own posts. Until a minute ago when I was browsing some other thread and saw it on someone else's post too.

I see it but it is not underlined here nor does something happen when i go over it :p

To stay on topic: I have them as well but not very often. I think it's mostly just a subconscious thing you recognize that then pops up in your conscious mind as a memory. I personally don't believe I am experiencing the same happening.

    edit:

    She covered it.

Thanks. Weird. Just saw it a bunch of times on other people's posts in the fitness thread too. Will run virus scan to get rid of spyware then.

Hmmm...this exact same conversation probably happened before. ;)

Actually, it's kinda funny but talking about deja vu sometimes gives me deja vu. (it isn't this time but it has before.)

I'm watching "Fringe" on Netflix and the other day one of the characters said that she was experiencing déjà vu. Another said, "Excellent! That means that you are right where you are supposed to be." I liked that thought. :)

A connection to a memory or past experience, even if I don't know when or why. :)
