What is a chubbler?

So I was surfin the internet and I saw people talkin about chubblers. I have no idea what they are, so if anybody could share their insight and maybe some pics it would be appreciated.

 

cross between a chillum and a bubbler. they are very, very cool.

i still havent figured out how you dont suck water up

 

your supposed to hold them facing upwards. Like such.

 

never seen a red x smoke before

 

and i know how to smoke out of a chillum.. the only thing is.. still from the water bubbling up.. you'd think a bit would splash up into the glass tube that goes to your mouth

You can see there's what I guess you could call a downstem and "upstem"

 

^^^ahh I see, I thought it was designed with another chamber around where you put the water.

 

You're supposed to hold a chillum/chubbler vertically

just think about it and look at the picture, i really don't know how to describe it

 

like i stated before.. you're missin the point.. .

1) i know what a chillium is
2) i know the "traditional" way of smoking out of one...
3) what ya dont seem to under stand is that air goin through the water creates bubbles.. the bubble fuckin break.. they splash.. you're gonna suck in water through the other tube eventually.. unless you barely fill the chubbler with water

Here, look at this pic. This particular one leaves a lot of levels you could fill the water to without it splashing like that, if you're so worried.
