You know we are born in a very strange manner and appear all of the sudden as a clean slate and we get to choose our path through life and if we pick bad decisions it will eventually lead to moral corruption...also you can emerge in life and do everything that you ever wished for...it just takes you to make up your mind and go for it with all your will. How many examples are there around us of great people/millionaires/athletes that emerged from extreme conditions of hardship or poverty? and these people exist in multiple nationalities/races and degrees of physical appearance. You can be the ugliest person and still get laid by 10 girls (well, prostitutes lol) all it takes is some money from your part. Just remember how strange the birth process was for you as a child and how long it took for you to understand and adapt to it! What if death is a process just as similar whereas you enter this totally foreign world that has a vastly different driving forces to it. I may be too high but i think it is amazing we are all sharing this specific snapshot of history together, like in the futures they will say, remember 100s ago when those crazy 10's people thought the world was always going to end hahaha
If this is heaven, I really don't want to know what hell is like.... lol Both heaven and hell exist on earth, you don't have to die to go to either.
yeah Ive heard people say we're living hell on earth being reborn into the same shit... but I dont believe that.
Exactly! If that stuff exists, I'm pretty sure I won't be seeing any pearly gates in my afterlife. Looks like i'll be paying my old pal "Lou" a visit...
lol there is no heaven or hell in the afterlife, hell is just to scare us into a kind of moral code of standards. Everyone who has had a death experience has said is was the most euphoric relaxing experience, so I do not fear death. I think people know from within what the right thing to do is, but were so mixed up with all the lies people stray from the path
Shakespeare called death "The Undiscovered Country".I've always likes this image.I am slightly scared of death though and the implications for the soul.
A "relaxing experience"? I have almost drowned and been hit by a car a few times and I can tell you I became completely desperate and worried.
yeah this is the only thing that worries me.. is your soul(energy) just suppose to float out into the universe? i dont want it getting stuck to something ya know, or blocked somehow
The English word "hell" comes from the Teutonic " Hel," which originally meant "to cover." In Christianity/Islam it's interpreted as a horrific place of torture where sinful people go. Actually, the correct translation is "a state of being where there is no god." This word should not be confused with Sheol from Judaism which denotes "abode of the dead" or the "underworld." In the Hebrew text of Tanakh this is portrayed as a comfortless place beneath the earth, beyond gates, where both the bad and the good, slave and king, pious and wicked, must go after death to sleep in silence and oblivion in the dust. I see this reality more of like a dream, you never really remember the beginning of a dream you just end up right in the middle of it. The same thing can be said about life itself; you never remember actual birth the same way you can never really remember death (or can you? irrelevant since nobody knows). Our memory fades and we don't know the future so what's left? Experience itself, which can be compared to living in a dream. It's not until you wake up that you finally realize it's a dream..
i dont mean near death I mean people who have actually died but then were revived... but thats considered a near death experience isnt it?
maybe you could remember birth by being put in a trance... who knows, but ive done lots of reading on people being revived after their heart had stopped for at least 5 minutes. and they all knew they had died and their bodies were rising and they ALL experience almost the same identical thing, absolute bliss
The earth is just another heavenly body,., of course you are in heaven. Problem is, Saint Peter lets everyone in without a ticket. The dude thinks its Woodstock... :2thumbsup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTIp9ABMbpY"]Re: The 60's: Peace Love & Music - YouTube
I think in heaven you sit in clouds and play harps. This could be a problem for the people around me because all I know is "Smoke on the Water"
