If Bush nukes Iran (specificaly nuke not just attack) what should the responce be?

My suggestion is an immediate non-violent General Strike and blocking the transportation system (trains, freeways, etc.). Shut the country down until.....?????

    (Hmm..problem)

    ...until Bush resigns?
(Chenny is better??? At least he didn't drop a nuke. He might have, but didn't.)

...anything else would not be supported by the mass of society. And the masses are needed for a General Strike to be effective.

    Any thoughts?

It will not affect Bush in anyway, but hurt the people. I think, he is beyond what people think, he tells them what to think. You know that majority who would elect him again, if they can.

i highly doubt any president will drop a nuke as a first strike that would be beyond imagination. i'm willing to bet that even bush wouldn't use a nuke unless we were first shot at with a nuke and it would most likely not go down like that there would be a tense time of being stuck in a showdown of who is gonna push first and if by some unimaginable or insane reason bush were to launch a nuke i would not want to be left defensless even if we have nothing to do with it as people we will suffer the consequences of the action. and i'm bettin bush would have something to worry about the main target of a counter attack would be him in any case.

nah, not communist, there would be one man in power in the end and the top dogs wouldn't be sharing a thing like the ideal of utopian society and equality of the common man. (not that i'm a communist) but just sayin'.

Bush isn't just any president and he's already done plenty of things that are beyond imagination. He'll blow the whole friggin' world up if somebody doesn't stop him.

He may not blow up the world, but he is the most likely canditate judging from the past descisions he's made and the power he has.

Bush has already dropped the big one i.e. he has turned his back on the american public and stripped them of their rights by pushing the patriot act....that is doing more damage than a nuke would......people would rally support after a nuke.....they choose to be blind to what is going on right under their noses............so yeah Bush has already dropped the big one

I think your general strike idea is a good one, it would bring Wall Street and it's corrupt power mongers to it's knees. It would make this country take a second look at it's priorities.

But your picture of Cheney is beyond belief. He is the power and the push behind GW. He is "satan" in carnate. And I am not a church going person. I would rather McCain was the VP, and he may well be before this term is over.

Cheney and the Project for the New American Century have lead this country into the mess it's in today. Their children aren't dying for their capital gains. And they probably aren't even paying taxes on their profits. The poor children of this country are dying and the children and citizens of foreign lands are dying so that Haliburton and Carlyle and their stockholders can reap the benefits.

It will take a mass protest to make this country wake up. Most of the posters on this board are still sleepwalking.

You can make any screwball assumption you want, it doesn't make them right.

And you can hang on to your unfounded belief that Bush and Cheney are looking after your best interests. Let me know how it feels when someone in your family is shipped home in a body bag.

Yea, I will hold on to that belief because I know they are right. So, I guess since it was Bush who "started" this war, it is his fault people die, but in every war before this one, deaths were the enemies fault.
