Um, I'm starting an Amnesty International group at my school, but haven't been able to go to any actual protests cause I couldn't find anyone to bum a ride with.

hmm. you must of took it differently then i was hoping. i ment go to some of the demonstrations. and protesting the Iraq war isnt about hipsters you know its about the war! we are just part of it. get my drift? so your right you cant drive to the WAR movement ( the war movement is just part of the hipster movement. ). that is why i want to go. so i can use my rights and express them in a GOOD WAY. i know i am just a talker bout it to. but i cant do a whole lot till my car runs and i have enough bottles of lead additive/substite and enough money for gas! yo like to go? where do you live? i live in Nebraska and depending on where the closest protest is at is which direction i go. we have a long way to go but look what we accomplished! soon you can mary whoever you want, express yourself as clearly as the sun shining in, and live without worry of being cut down for your beliefs! as someone once said. If everyone demanded peace enstead of another television set, then thered be peace! REMEMBER THIS MOST OF ALL. Peace, Love, Harmony, and Tollerance begins INSIDE your HEART not head. i know i am talking ( currently ) out of my head but that is only temp. my heart is alseep in bed. its 4:30 a.m. and this is what i am talking about me getting not enough sleep for! well i better go and see if i can get to sleep!

Unfortunately, to be perfectly honest, I haven't done enough to help the movement. But one of my future goals is activism, and I vow to do that.

 

My schools 25 miles away so i drive there in my honda accord, a low emissions vehicle. Once there i park it and walk or bike to anywhere on campus.


Side note: My campus is 28,000 acres total but the classes are only on about 1,000 of those acres. The rest are trees.

Being a "hipster" was never really about anything. It was just a buncha people doing whatever the hell they felt like then a bunch of people decided to set up a system and structure to it, becoming the most hypocritical stereotypes ever. To be a "hipster" you dont have to be a vegetarian, buhhdist, protester, activist or anything like that crap. You just are. Jesus... It was a generalizatio by the by. right there you said to be a hipster you have to do whatever you want. see. being a hipster is knowing yourself/ finding yourself now thats not sterotypical. i dont wear tye dye all the time, or bells. hipster is a philosophy. not a way of life. you discover yourself/know who you are. its a philosophy. there cant be no peace wihtout inner peace. it all leads down to this. find yourself. i am not going to judge you i jsut think you should walk the extra mile. like so many others have refused to do.

You wouldnt need to. If everyone did as they pleased then you would have a utopian society after the first 80% died off from stupidity. We would "de-evolve" technologicly and many would die cause they cant farm for shit but we would be better in the end.

Duh. Thats where the 80% comes in. A huge portion of the population will die because they cant farm or forage. 20% is a wide margin too. I get hungry, I will forage for the foods I need, be it apples, mushrooms, berries etc etc.

We arent going to kill the world. Being as this is the first occurence of said deminerilization in existance, we have no idea the long term effects. We have no idea what the land will be like in 1000 years. We can only speculate. How many times were eggs good then bad?

Lets think about this. If I am only concerned with myself, it will get YOU nowhere. If I'm only thinking of myself then it should get me somewhere. If your talking about mentally or concious... fuck it I hate people anyway. I wont be feeling guilty when I croak.

They go there to get paid. Paid poorly often. If suddenly we all decided to do what we want instead then people will naturally break down the system we use, from currency to mechanics.
