And how are you? I've been really sick. Fever, no eating, vomitting, the works. I'm still sick, and if by tomorrow I don't get better I'm going to the ER. I was hoping this sickness would go away, but I've been like this since Monday. I think I just have a stomach infection. So really going to the ER is pointless. But, whatever. I'll go. On another note, I'm downloading episodes from The Walking Dead. And I'm this close from getting my marijuana medical card. I just have to turn in one more paper. It's kind of hard to find, though. Anyways, how is everyone?
If I see a doctor for every little thing I have I'll be there for the rest of my life. And be in a mountain of debt because my insurance sucks. Anyeays, never mind that. I want to know how you are. What is up with you? How's the wife? Were you the guy that burned his face using shampoo as face wash?
Lol, yes. It didn't actually burn, but it felt like it was burning. I'm doing ok now. I stocked up on body wash, so no more washing my face with the weird stuff. My wife is ok. She's with her girlfriends, going to a gambling boat. I didn't feel like going. I didn't want to intrude on a girls night out, and I don't bet anyway. Thanks for asking Next!
I am feeling a whole lot better. Last night I had my first good night of sleep in over a week. I think breaking out my vaporizer helped a lot. I've lost about 12 lbs over the last 1-2 weeks, but my appetite is starting to come back a bit. I am going to be keeping my calories lower as long as I won't be working out. Tonight I will be cooking up a grass fed ribeye, which I will be having with a plate of steamed broccoli seasoned with Himalayan salt. Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Having to go to the ER sucks. I hope you've got good insurance.
Now, I'm worried about some purple sweet potatoes that I've got growing. The temperature is supposed to get pretty low here tomorrow night. I hope they aren't damaged. I actually have them in large containers, but I really don't want to bring them into the house.
My mom wants a new laptop and to go to the casino for Mother's Day. So, I feel you. I hate going to the casino. I'll play the tables, but I must rather spend my money elsewhere. The food is good, though. So, I'm thinking of taking her to the casino, eating and then sleeping in the car while she does her thing. And sometime the following week we will go hunting for a laptop. That is if I'm not in the hospital all sick. If that is the case, I'll give her the money to go to the casino on her own. She will take the bus there instead of driving at that point. And hopefully, by next week I'll be feeling better to buy her a laptop. The thing is I can't give her the money and send her on her way. She needs someone to help her pick one out. Anyways, sorry about your purple potatoes. Never seen purple potatoes.
I'm so happy you're feeling better. I wasn't worried you were gonna die or anything. But, I felt bad. It sucks when you work so hard to stay healthy, yet you still get sick. I think that's worse than never taking care of yourself and getting sick. Sure, my ailments are out of my control because I was born with medical conditions. But, I bet if I tried to stay healthy I can avoid some things. Then again it's not easy to be healthy when you are sick. It's nearly impossible. Like you would have to have a lot of wellpower. I don't know if I'm making sense. But, all in all I'm glad you're feeling better. I was worried about you. I think I even had a dram about you. Granted I was feverish, so I had a lot of messed up dreams. Don't you hate when you sleep during a fever, gave these wicked dreams, then abruptly wake up for no apparent reason? Anyways, the dreams weren't anything bad, just weird.
Lol! If it were you making such a thread I would react the same. I generally get worried when others are sick. I know how bad it can get. And it gets real bad. It's like your body is turning against you, but in reality it's trying to help you by taking resources from area to another area.
I hear the stomach bug going around this year is bad. Everyone ive known who has had it said it lasted over 72 hours. As long as you can keep liquids down you can probably ride it out without going to the doctor. As for me, i'm tired.
There is also a listeria outbreak. Only seven people have gotten sick from it though. It's more likely that you have a garden variety infection, but still worth monitoring.
That's what I'm thinking too. Let the body do its own healing. But, considering my fevers don't break, I probably should go. I'm going to take a shower now, see if my fever goes down.
