Man i used to love coming on here before facebook n shit and connecting to all my fellow hippys/rainbow fam i mean there is facebook but i always felt this place was a lil more cool and special cause you had to actually look for this site it aint shit to look up a page in fb well i just wanted to say that ..... i see its been year or so since the last post was made on here ....!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow. I watched that and for a group (s) who promote peace and love; they are nothing more then judgmental, egotistical and self righteous. To call themselves Hippies, is a knock on the Hippie idea.

They are weekend warrior hippies. Just another notch for there self centered FB posts and pics; something to brag and talk about with their coworkers on a Monday morning.

Both groups are sad. If this had happened in a trailer park, we would be calling for Child Protection and police to interfere. Nothing short of a Jerry Springer laced escapade. To wonder how these people live in the real world, is absolutely mind boggling.

I met up with mama , her man , and a couple of the kids at the last gathering . All's quiet . They
were camped at the parking lot and had a school bus .

 

At one point there was a lot of drama on here and perhaps those who are true rainbow decided to not play any more.

 

All's quiet in rainbow internet mind-space . We are together ( whooping) feets on the earth . Next U.S. gathering will be in the
Ocala National Forest - February 2016 .

 

Doesnt the whole internet thing go against the Rainbow family mantra anyway, especially the non commercialism part?

thank you brother....I just searched pics of Ocala national forest....damn it looks nice there.....can someone tell me how many people would go to a national at Ocala?....like are we talking 50 or are we talking hundreds?.....thousands?

 

At tops during the famous Rolling Stoned party years - 2000 , but I think not that many lately . Thing is , it's
the beginning of a rainbow trail with more gatherings to the north as the springtime comes on . One could
begin February in Ocala and casually be on the road and gathered in the woods all the way to the 2016 National
in Vermont/New Hampshire mid-June .

 

Florida? Eesh! Everybody and their dog has a gun. It's gotta be as peaceful as the one I went to in Texass. It was 120 degrees in the shade, with 90% humidity...and some fucking redneck kicked out my windshield because I was taking 50 gallons of water and twenty pounds of ice down to the camp. Texass Rangers tried to keep us from gathering, made us camp in 20 person camps. It was taken to court and we won, with the constitutional right to the freedom of assembly , but it was misserable in that heat. The Rangers arrested the redneck that kicked out my windshield, but I had to pay to replace it. Fuck the redneck south! Remember Easy Rider? They died in Florida...yeah yeah, it's just a movie, right?
