what handshake do you like the best?

It can get pretty confusing meeting new people and shaking their hands..sometimes people try to throw in a fist bump or their hand is sideways. pats on the back. 2 hand shakes. soft shakes, weak shakes..blah.blah.

what do you do?

I usually give a firm but not a bone crushing shake, 2 vertical shakes. But I shake womens had different, a softer grip and I don't grab the whole hand.

I seriously just burst out laughing when I read that.

Anyway, I like a firm handshake. Even from a man. I will judge you based on a handshake. Don't shake my hand like a pussy or I'll think you have one. I still think that about my husbands boss. I shook his hand a few years ago and he shakes hands like a 5 year old girl. That's always the first thing I think about when I see him.

If you're thinking of becoming a salesman or politician, go with the Bill Clinton shake. He would do a normal shake but also grasp your right arm behind the elbow and give a sincere looking smile. They say that one will win anyone over. I don't know this first hand, I merely read it somewhere.

I bet you thought I was going some other direction with Bill's hand.

A firm handshake is preferable. Not clenching though as that hurts.

 

I prefer to avoid touching people at all costs. lol

 

yeah..so many germs out there ..i get creeped out when people want shake hands..ill do it because its usually when making deals but its gross

 

Firm but not painfully firm. No shake. This is for more formal shit

A fist bump sometimes with friends...or...that thing where you clasp the thumb then all the fingers like the drug dealers do

I did the top bottom straight forward fist pound thing with a buddy today randomly when I left his place. Havent done that in a while

 

Sometimes just a pat on the back is as good as a handshake. Or a hand touching you somewhere else that is acceptable.
