are yeez all trying to hit up this summer?

Im really trying for All Good, Big Up and possibly Gathering of the Vibes...depending on what I can afford of course :sunny:

 

great blue heron fest for 4th of july weekend, reggae fest in august at the ledges in OH, and the cannabis harvest fest in early october (if theyre having it).. those are the only three that i always hit up, year after year


id like to go to rootwire, for some cool electronic shit to dance to.. but depends how much time i can get off work.. real cool setting there though.. crazy vibe too.

i tend to only go to smaller fests (like 10k people or less).. i like to actually see the people i was hanging out with the night before again the next day.. couldnt imagine something like bonnaroo with 80k people... not for me, too many sketchy people ruins it for me

im doin summercamp, phish tour, superball 9, furthur tour, all good, summerdance at the ledges, the weekend off, and who knows. thats planning to far ahead. its gonna be a jivin summer

 

i would like to... illinois is a bit far though. ahhh theres so many i would like to attend. the only issue is my job.. which i dont even need to support myself, i make enough money as is... but its a pretty decent job at the hospital, which is one foot in the door in terms of landing an even nicer job there, one you might call a career.. which is the only reason im still working there.

but looking at the summercamp line-up reminds me... i'd also like to hit up moe.down if i can get the time off. but i would say thats kinda unlikely... i may just end up quitting my job this summer though

I would love to go to All Good and GOTV, but I probably won't have the money to go.. suuucks

 

not really sure how much summer is gonna pan out.. i have summer classes that start the week after memorial day

 

Definitely Blues Fest and Folk Fest. I go to those two every year. This year at Blues Fest I want to see John Fogerty again (CCR) and Joe Satriani.

 

I was thinking about going to Superball but idk. I think I rather pay $200 to see a shit ton a bands rather than just one. I'll see Phish live eventually.....haha

This is basically what kept me from going to most over the summers. Everyone was on vacation enjoying their free time while I was stuck in class and broke half the time.

 

Where are those festivals at? They sound like they have a lot of music i'd like.

 

EH you aren't missing out. They are nothing but a nostalgia act these days.

Already started off the festival season with Ultra Music Festival this past March. Hitting up Sunfest in WPB on Saturday. Was going to go to Wakarusa, but was booked for a show here in Miami so now I'm going to be off too Bonnaroo. Also Underground Sound... And of course BURNING MAN!!!! =D Langerado is back in South Florida in October as well! =D

Although I would love to make it to the UK for Glastonbury... so if anyone wants to make any donation$ ;-P I'm willing to accept! =D

 

aw man - i think i'm trying to get out to Wakarusa, if one of you guys were going that would have been awesome.

i just need to get some of my friends serious about going with me. my roommate wants to but he has no FUCKING money
