well, assuming its drinkable vodka (reasonably smooth on its own) i think just a dash of vermouth is all it needs....little vodka martini action. course i usually prefer the traditional gin for my martinis, but vodka martinis are great, too.

you can mix it with a little tomato juice or V8 along with a dash of worcestershire sauce, a slightly larger amount of tobasco sauce or comparable hot sauce, and top it with a tiny amount of fresh ground black pepper and have yourself a bloody mary...but it takes some practice before you get the mixture right, really.

vodka is good in nearly any citrus/tropical juice....oj+vodka is called a screwdriver...good also with pineapple juice, pine/orange/banana juice, etc.

essentially anything you really like to drink you can put vodka in and it will taste decent. vodka is a neutral spirit, meaning its designed to impart as little flavor of its own as possible in a mixed drink. some vodkas are great by themselves, though, or good in martinis, while others arent. they're all designed to have an EXTREMELY mild flavor, but some do this well and some dont (i.e. smirnoff, which has a harsh taste somewhat reminiscent of rubbing alcohol in my opinion)

 

Vodka can be mixed with just about anything and still be good.
Definately our #1 type of liquor sold at the bar I bartend at.

Two most common mixers are cranberry juice (add a lime for a cape cod) and redbull (add a little grenadine to make it a cherry bomb).

 

Mix the greygoose with the cranberry juice.

na jk, vodka taste like shit. So my answer would most commonly be: nothing.

 

your answer has pretty much been well answered.....but i like my vodka mixed with gatorade, kool-aid, lemonade...pink or regular, raspberry ice tea,......it really does go good with just about anything.

 

I think cranberry juice is best mixed with vodka.. or v8 veg. juice. and a celery stick for a straw. Thats the best cure for a hangover, v8 and vodka

 

Like everyone has said, vodka goes good with anything.

Personally, I hate the taste of it and I can still taste it when it's mixed. x.x

depends what kind of vodka it is. I find that regular Absolut still has a sweet flavour to it, and I love adding it to root beer.

The best is Vanilla Absolut with A&W root beer. MMMMMMMMMMM
