I am not a Muslim but was wondering what answers Islam gives to these questions: Who is God? Does God have a proper name? What are God's qualities? Why do we grow old and die? Where are the dead? Who is Christ Jesus? Are there wicked spirits? If so what is the origin of Satan? Why Has God Permitted Wickedness Until Our Day?
I think Mohammed demoted Jesus from 'the Christ' to a mere prophet. Hence the heresy that is Islam for Christians.
its just like other things in the bible.. Pay no mind to it.. Worship G-d.. And fuck all the paper work..
But how will we know how to worship a perfect, infallible entity properly without words written by imperfect, fallible men who may or may not have gotten it right?!?!
The problem is that I can answer all the questions using the Bible but then those answers would contradict the Quran but as ChronicTom points out: "As submitters, we believe in what was revealed by God in the previous scriptures included in the Old and New Testaments. The Final Testament (Quran) confirms and consummates previous scriptures. Therefore, if we find anything in the previous scriptures which contradicts the Quran, it is "man-made"." That would make those answers "man-made" and thus unusable to Muslims, so once again, inquiring minds want to know, what are the answers to these simple questions?
What about revolutions which exist in the Name of the Love of a woman against the State? It seems the state could be blinded by it's own privilege for representing God; but unlike by christianity God himself is never directly Himself at sacrifice through the love if the individual, viz. the undetermined presence for God in and for the World. It seems that the foibles of Men is the pure justification of Islamic revolutions. Thus they are not individualists or collectively compliant. It rather should be, to the Muslim, a compromise of Values. Sometimes a Christian type revolution may occur such as at the Ottoman Empire after the first World War.
As chronictom pointed out? I sent you a link, and quoted what was said, there. Maybe you should pull your bible out of your ass and try sitting in front of the computer and googling if your intent is to actual learn what other religions think. I asked to be banned from the sanctuary because I had a little respect for you. You just destroyed all of that by this whole thread. You are a fucking puppet
I am sure that if you would go to a Imam in a mosque or even a islamic nieghborhood he would give you an answer for each of your questions. Asking it here, where evidently there is no one versed in the islamic religion, is sort of like asking Bible questions in an inipi ceremony. Also it may be better to begin with questions about the mans own religion lest he finds you to be rude. I have talked with an islamic man an he was very apt at anwering questions,I have watched as he silenced three different christian ministers calmly and quickly. So they are not without their talents of articulation.
Where, who? So we are fighting Wars to stop bigotry. I just really believe it is both sides. I can't stand IT anymore than you can.
Interesting post, are you considered to be a good example Muslims and Islam? I asked a few simple questions that should be fairly easy to answer, which your link didn't answer, and suddenly I'm the bad guy.
No, you are a bad guy because of the manner that you asked these questions and then used the fact that nobody answered to draw conclusions on an entire religion. As tanasi said, why ask here? This isn't AllahForums, it is HipForums... so to draw any sort of conclusion from the fact that nobody answered you here, is an indication of your personality. And no, I am not either muslim or of islam. I don't agree with any organized religion. But more importantly, I will not sit back and watch one try to elevate itself over others by making FALSE CLAIMS... If you can't go back to acting in a manner that deserves respect, don't expect any.
Actually the reason I'm here is the fact that there seems to be some in Hip Forums posting mostly in the Christian forums that seem to have knowledge of Islam and in fact are proclaiming it there. So instead of asking questions about Islam in in the Christian forums I thought that questions about Islam should be asked in the Islam forum. So here I am asking and so far no one seems to know the answers.
