What does God

gain from his relationship with humans? Why did he create humans? If he is so awesome and supreme, what does he stand to get out of this relationship?

 

Think of it this way...if you were the only one alive would that not boring/sad/lonly.He wanted to share life with people.

 

If God is infinite, He can't gain anything by definition.

 

God put parts of Him in His creation, so that every part could experience His love and God could trough that experience Himself.

 

So hes basking in his own glory? using us to amplify his love back to himself?

 

If youd like to put it that way. I dont see it as being used though.

 

To answer your question, I ask you: what does any parent gain from having children?

 

And I ask you: since when is a parent infinite and all-powerful? Wouldn't that be a fundamental difference?

 

Hmm...I suppose if I were god, I wouldn't want to be just happy all the time floating within nothingness. Creating is fun. I'd love to create my own universe. That'd be sweet. And there would be sooo much chocolate!

Why do people create stories?

yeah, its all about me me me with God, he wants HIS love returned to him. he shares with us HIS love in hopes that we will return it to him. rat bastard.
