I'm serious. To me they seem pretty worthless. The one I have has a door that's only 1/2 the width of a regular cabinet door.
I think I'll make a kitty cat cave. The cabinet doesn't connect to anything but the under-sink cabinet. I can put a partition there to keep them out of the cleaners, etc. The door is only the width of a big cat anyway.
I keep all my flat stuff, sheet pans, cutting boards and a square pancake pan, in my skinny cabinet. It's deep enough.
When I install the "new to me" Coppes Napinee corner cabinet I won't have anything in the back... It has a 3 tier lazy susan in it.
This builder was just out of his mind. The cabinet is about 3 ft. long (left to right, duh) and has a 6 in. wide door on the extreme right-hand portion of the area. That leaves like 2 1/2 lineal feet of cabinet to the left of this tiny door. There's no way to reach that space.
Kitty Kat Kave Sounds Like The Way To Go, Here I Have The Same As Ty With A Lazy Susan And Bi-Folding Doors To Access It...... Cheers Glen.
I mange to use every inch of my cupboards and wardrobes and then still can't find enough room. Tbh, I generally keep wine in these kind of spots. Mead and wine if I'm laying it sideways preferably to a door or cupboard I rarely use.
I have a cabinet like that and I just use it as a space to throw all my grocery bags after a shopping trip. I would lock susan's lazy ass in there if I had a lazy Susan.
A friend of mine had a lot of useless cabinets and when she remodeled her kitchen she used a lot of sliding components to give her more storage and to make it easier to get into her cabinets. Something like this. View attachment 1892
