...and then you break 23 bones in your body, due to a tragic car accident.

Would you refuse treatment on principle?
Or be a complete fucking hypocrite?

    depends on which 23 bones.

breaking 23 bones doesn't HAVE to be terrible.

but, I want socialized healthcare, so. I'd just go to the NHS.

    For anybody else :rolleyes::

3 in your left fibula and 3 in your right...with the rest scattered over your body in random places, where it would deem you incapable of having a normal life ever again...infact I think one bone is puncturing a lung as we speak.

I would imagine you would have no choice, which is exactly the point.

I'm sure we are not supposed to be talking to each other.

    Anyhoo,

You are in a moral quandry.
You could British but be too indoctrinated to actually die for your so-called principles...
But It could be you are an American on holdiay.

most nations with healthcare plans that work better than ours still have privately run systems (see germany)

    That's true. (See England.)

I guess it would be a case of turning the ambulance away - if you could.
Then telephoning the local private hospital.
I guess most people apposed would have a pendant around their necks, stating: No socialised healthcare, please.

If you are a tourist, you could relax knowing the money you paid for travel insurance can provide you with the sense of 'private' healthcare you need to heal your ego.

    That could work.
I guess you deal with the moral issues if you end up in one of those dirty NHS hospitals (through no fault of your own.)

I'd shoot myself if I couldn't use the correct form of 'break' correctly.

To be fair, that sentence is a bit of a train wreck.

I was telling gravity, the meter of it is all wrong, and there may be other problems that are not precisely rule breakers.

but there is something WRONG with that sentence.

i don't actually carry a DNR card (yet)...but i am thinking of getting one...that just means i actually have to go to the doctors, which i have state healthcare right now...and i'm not all that interested in making an appointment

its just fun to tell people i have it IRL and see the shock on there face

What are your reasons for being deadset against Socialized Healthcare?

Then when accessing them....I would make my decision. Though I am not too keen on being all broken and letting mother nature take its course, without making sure they were set correctly. Go find yourself a good faith healer;)
