i listen to this song everyday but not the orginal one from the stones...Leslie King sings a different version of wild horses...i havent heard that cd A Tribute to The Rolling Stones?? Anyone heard it yet?...
I think I've heard the Rolling Stones version only a couple times, but I like the version by The Sunday's better.
To start a song in A flat minor "Wild Horses" was a major departure from the traditional 12 bar blues base in C and E they had done for a while. It is an amazing and beautiful song, and the fact that Jagger actually never gets the girl is quite a nice departure from most Stones songs ... one of the very best they ever did.
yeah garth brooks did a version also...but i liked leslie king...that song is depressing but when i listen to that song, its like i feel all emotions coming into "one." Its like an mandala painting...but with that song...it makes me feel all emotion....i love the way it makes me feel.....
