my wife jackie i usualy refer to as wifie. female humans i generaly refer to as female humans. i like cute sounding words better then obnoxious or confrontational sounding ones. ladies is supposed to be polite but i find some of the implications not entirely satisfactory. likewise btw, male humans specificly when i'm refering to gender i refer to as male humans also. otherwise i use the term 'guys' genericly to encompass all hymans male or female and sometimes to encompass other relatively sentient life forms as well, and certainly the sentient beings of all worlds of which there are. girls has implications i like but not all women do. well i guess i can see that. same sort of cringe i get when i hear all males being refered to as boys. i do use the term ladys as somewhat of a default sometimes. i'm just not very satisfied with doing so. female humans, however anyone else may feel about it, does make the most sense for me, other then being pendantic and verbose. just depends on whether the context can justify doing so. or rather if the awkwardness of the alternatives in the context justify doing so. =^^= .../\...
My female friends are usually referred to as honey, honeybunny, baby, girl, Miss Thing. With those that are close to me I usually lapse into "gay speak".
I call them chicks, by their names, or just girls/women. I don't know...What exactly are you asking here? What I call them in general or to their face? I call them chicks in general, but to their face I call them by their name. Sometimes when I'm argumentative, I'll say sweetie before proving them wrong or something. Like, "No, sorry sweetie, that's not the way it is." But thats not just girls though, it's everyone.
i usually call a woman in a generaly unspecific usage chick or lady, but if its a specific term like the girl i like i call them by name....although if there a true jerk ill call them a bitch. but they deserve it.
sistas as a group, woman/ mamma in singular and small group. ie: there were a lot of sistas at the show. or Who was that woman with Pam? Oh, that mamma was Jessica. outside of the land of Deadhead speak it's girl up to about 14, young woman through say, 20 and woman after that.
