ok after i mix the yeast and sugar and the lukewarm water do i just put the container in with the plant or do i have to direct the path of the co2 ? wont it get sucked out by the exaust?
First you need to seal the chamber to make it air tight. Then you need to let the CO2 build up until it is as high as the top of the plants (CO2 is heavier than air). Then you need an atmospheric ppm meter to gauge the amt. of CO2 in the chamber. Be sure to exhaust excess CO2 during lights out. Or you could rig up an emitter over each plant to constantly shower each plant with CO2, but this will cost a lot of $$--more than it's worth, compared to flo-thru ventilation.
Their is no point giving your plant Co2 when the lights are off as they take in oxygen when its dark. Just put the lid back on tight at night then when the lights go on at your specified time crack your container open so that you hear a slow hissing noise, every now & then give the container a little shake & it will hiss a little louder. If you add more sugar 3-4 days later you will get some more gas. Try using (FRUCTOSE SUGAR)
