She was suppose to be at her Dad's until Sunday but called me this morning, sick and wanted to come home. I went and picked her up and on the way home she asked me to make this and take out some homemade soup. It is funny as she is no longer a kid, until she gets sick. :)

All kidding aside I am happy that my kids prefer homemade food. I have a thing about eating properly and thankfully they do as well.

    Tsk. ;)

I can't believe this, avocados have gone down to $2.97 for a bag of 5. I bought two bags. Maybe I should have bought 3! So I had an avocado on rye bread for lunch. For dinner I'm making an avocado taco dip.

I had left over pizza and I'm so over shit pizza I'm only making it myself now.
It's like the pizza shop just drowns pizza in sauce. I don't want sauce, I want bratwurst! And bacon! And pineapples.

I like calzones. Pepporoni, cheese and black olives and pineapples

for breakfast i made myself some chilli mac. with some small rapid cooking noodles (not raman, but just as fast cooking) and a can of chilli, that was supposed to have been no beans. it had quite a few, but it wasn't mostly or all beans either. and it came from the 99cent store, so i'm not bitching.

over the course of the day, i had a couple of slices of ham, and finished up the wine country chick salad from tj's i'd bought yesterday or the day before.

i've also nibbled on dark chocklet nibs, espresso pillows, and pine nuts. and a single serving chocklet flavored rice pudding. all to gether this is, i am sure, more then i should have.

tomarrow i'm not making a trip to the store. i've got plenty in the house. but later tomarrow evening i may be going to someone's birthday party, if i'm either not turned around about where it is, or happen to get a ride with somebody.

i plan on bringing the chocklet cat cookies and the dark chocklet dipped pretzels, both of which i'm not planing to open until i get them there.

sunday i plan on eating as little as my body will let me.

I've heard avocados are really good for you, so I'm trying to learn how to prepare them. This morning for breakfast I simply took a ripe one, cut it in two, and drizzled olive oil. Then pepper and salt. Yum.

Avocados are good chopped up in a salad too, or made into guacamole.

So far all I've had is some Bulletproof coffee and mineral water. I'm fasting until around 6:30-7:00. When that time rolls around, I'll probably have a few chicken breasts and a salad.

Oh man av's are great even on their own. Just cut one in half, remove the pit drizzle some lemon juice and a sprinkle of salt. Then scoop it out of the skin with a spoon.

You can put thin slices on a sandwich or in a wrap with just about anything, chicken, turkey, fish.. even a simple sandwich of avocado, sprouts, a bit of onion and a nice vinaigrette is delicious. :)

Guacamole is the pinnacle of avocado magic IMHO.. Invented by the Aztec, When the Spaniards hit the shores back in the 1500s, the locals were making a preparation called ahuaca-mulli, which means "avocado-mixture".
Truly one of the treasures of the New world.
